Body shared by Darkguardian. Brown pour with an off white head. Musty wet sock aromas. Big vinous and woody notes. Decent body and mouthfeel.

Sample at the bottle sale on 3/2/13. Black pour with a thick tan head. Aroma of roast, herbs, malt and light fruit. Malty flavor with a bit of fruit before an herbal and roasty finish.

Taster on tap at the brewpub. Dark brown, near black color. Great creamy light brown head, leaves great lace. One of the prettiest tasters Ive ever seen. Impressive roast malt. Light coffee. Medium to bigger body. Light, crisp carbonation. More dry finish. Good medium bitter taste. Light saison zest. Best black saison Ive had yet.
