Draft at Jackie O-s Anniversary Party alongside Wood Ya Honey and Bourbon Berry Grove from notes. Pours a dark reddish copper color with a small sized beige head. The aroma has ample notes of honey, caramel, wheat malt, some alcohol and a hint of butterscotch. The flavor is fairly sweet with honey, caramel and toffee, wheat malts, alcohol. I like this better as Wood Ya Honey with the influences of the bourbon barrel.

On tap at Jackie Os. Hazy brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma is honey and maple. Big and complex. This one was responsible for putting me over the edge. When I returned later in the evening

Draft sample. Poured hazy brown color with an average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate dark honey aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Moderate honey sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a complex good beer.

Sample at the Jackie Os Bottle Sale on 08/27/2011. This beer is a dark amber color with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of honey and maple as well as mildly tart fruit. Medium body with flavors of honeycomb, malt and fruit. The finish is sweet with a wheaty honey aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap. Poured a near clear deep amber brown with minimal brown head that dissipated completely. Aroma was dry honey with sweet wheat, butter pecan and vanilla. Flavor was similar with smooth dry honey, butter pecan and a hint of vanilla. A bit to sweet for me.

On tap at the Jackie Os 5th Anniversary Extravaganza. Opaque copper/brown pour with a medium tan head. Grainy malt nose with notes of berry and honey along with some slight tartness. Wheat malt flavor with some honey and tart fruit before a bitter finish.
