On tap at Jackie O’s. Hazy brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma is honey and maple. Big and complex. This one was responsible for putting me over the edge. When I returned later in the evening

Draft sample. Poured hazy brown color with an average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate dark honey aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Moderate honey sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a complex good beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at the Jackie O’s Bottle Sale on 08/27/2011. This beer is a dark amber color with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of honey and maple as well as mildly tart fruit. Medium body with flavors of honeycomb, malt and fruit. The finish is sweet with a wheaty honey aftertaste. Decent overall.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap. Poured a near clear deep amber brown with minimal brown head that dissipated completely. Aroma was dry honey with sweet wheat, butter pecan and vanilla. Flavor was similar with smooth dry honey, butter pecan and a hint of vanilla. A bit to sweet for me.
