3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Jackie-Os, served in a goblet. ABV listed as 5%. Nice, faded pale but darker red-brown color, totally opaque. Decent gradient of color. Minimal white head. Great, tarty raspberry aroma. Belgo yeast is a great complement to the razz. Awesome sweet taste, but not overpowering. Some bitter, some grapefruit aroma there too. Very smooth carbonation, nice drier texture. A very cool and balanced fruit beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample at the brewpub on 12/23/11. Hazy amber pour with a thin beige head. Aroma of raspberry, creamy wheat and Belgian esters. Flavor of raspberry and creamy wheat with some Belgian esters (but not a ton of banana), before a pronounced berry finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at the brewpub. Pours a murk dark reddish-brown color with a medium light beige head that recedes to an outer ring. Short stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of berries and yeast. Medium body with a moderately tart fruit character and notes of wheat and yeast. The finish is fruity with a lingering raspberry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
