3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft a brewpub. Pours a clear yellow golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is tart citrus, wheat, yeast, lactic acidity. The flavor is tart lemony citrus, wheat, some biscuity malt, lactic acidity with a hint of funk. Easy to drink. I believe this was the second batch.

On tap at brew side pours a very clear extra pale gold. Aroma is tart and light with some fruity funkiness notes of cherry. Flavor is a lot like aroma very tart and clean with a good funk more light fruit. Overall this is a very nice intro to the style I assume this is a well done brew no real off flavors just clean fruity funk.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Received in a 4 oz. taster glass.
3.5 A: Cloudy yellow brown color. Came without a head.
3.0 S: More funk than tartness. Light garbage with a musty basement funk. Subtle, but pleasant.
3.5 T: Lightly tart again with garbage and basement funk. Well balanced, but missing some depth and power.
3.5 M: Light body. Good moderate carbonation. Could be spritzier and creamier, but okay. Super smooth.
3.0 D: It’s tasty, but it falls close to average for the style.

Growler shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike!
The beer is transparent and light yellow in color, with a thin, white head. The nose is full of lemon flavors, with a slight mustiness about it. While the flavor wasn’t bad, I found it a bit lacking. The absence of any lactic, sour, funky notes kept this beer from being special. The flavor is basically a light, summery ale with lemon flavors and a subtle musty finish. I really enjoy Berliner Weissbier, but this one came up a bit short, in my opinion.

On tap at the Hill Farmstead 2nd Anniversary VIP event. Typical berliner weisse pour- light straw with an excellent white head. Beautiful lactic acidity and stone fruit finish off with light earthen funk. Light body with a dry finish. Very quenching and delicious.

Multiple glasses at HF 2nd Ann. Aroma is clean, sour, light lemon tartness and faint wheat. Flavor is crisp, tart, citrus sourness, lemonade and a touch of a spice tingle. So smooth and easy drinking. Perfect carbonation and not overly puckering. Just the right amount of sourness imo. Great stuff.

On tap at Jackie O’s One Funky Afternoon. Served in a tulip.
Pours a nice semi-cloudy light apricot color with a good, thin white head. Little bit of lacing. The nose brings forward a nice amount of lactic character with just a touch of light funk lingering in the background. Nice tartness comes through along with a smidgen of grain. Everything is light and airy--nothing is overwhelming and all is in great balance. Moderate carbonation and a beautifully dry and lactic finish. Well done.

Light amber. Slightly toasty, biscuity aroma with a tiny hint of yeasty acidity. A little bit more strongly malty than the usual, with a gentle, balanced acidity. Good - I’m not convinced the malts are out of line with the style (historically).

Bottle... More acidic, fruity and bright than my sample of a previous batch. Less grainy and just much better overall. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!
Bottle… CCB’s Hunahpu’s Day 2012… Cloudy amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head that lasts forever. The nose is moderately grainy and lightly acidic. Light-bodied and very creamy with soft carbonation. The flavor is bready, lightly tart, mildly bitter and offers a hint of apricot. Tangy, bready finish. Bottle courtesy of JW!

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazy yellow color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Light body with a lemony character and notes of wheat and yeast. The finish is tart with a zesty citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.
