Thanks to Alex for this bottle. Pours a golden color with a white head. Grassy and lactic aroma, but some sulfur and vegetal notes. Sweet wheat and a touch of popcorn. The flavor is not quite as off as the nose, but still some vegetal notes. Grass, lactic tartness, lemon zest, and some wheat. A light bread sweetness.

22 oz. bottle from DrSilverworm. Thanks again, Chris! Bottle 144/209. Pours a semi-cloudy pale, bright yellow-gold with a small white head. Aroma of Aroma of lemon, grapes, sour mash, wheat, and bright earthy funk throughout. The flavor is the same, with a sneaky level of tartness. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, tart mouthfeel. Very good beer.

burg326 (3883) - Florida, USA - APR 30, 2013
Bottle shared by Markwise, poured a cloudy straw yellow color with aromas of light wheat, lemon rinds, some light lemon, and a touch of barnyard. Flavors were light tart lemons, wheat, and a light acidic aftertaste. Not overly tart, light on the palate, very enjoyable overall.

TheAlum (5909) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2013
Bottle shared at Dark Lord Day (Munster, IN). Pours a rich golden straw hue, good glow, mellow haze, frothy whitish head dies to a film, laces small. Aromas are funky, bready and lemon. Gentle lactic elements. Some fruit. Initial is more sour than the nose let’s on, good lemon and lactic acidity. Middle sustains those flavors, bready and dry, straw, firm bread and lemony sourness. Backend is dry and sour, good funkiness, some sourness and lemon. Tart. Finish is dry, tart, a bit spritzy. Nice beer.

Lukaduke (2374) - Portland, Maine, USA - APR 28, 2013
Bottle thanks to Jstax. Pours a hazy pale blonde color with a finger of fizzy foam the bubbles out quickly. The nose is tight lime, lemon pith, yogurt and a touch of cheerio malt. On the palate its direct and snappy with great carbonation and a refreshing quenching tartness that has a touch of unripe berry funk mingling with great levels of acidity and sourness. Delicious wish i could buy this by the gallon !

Caterwaul (51) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Shared with Pixachii. Pours a clear golden yellow color with a thin white disk on top, recedes to lace in seconds. Smells tart and funky. Fruity. Lemon. Wet stone. Wheat. Honey. Tastes tart. Very tart, in fact. Still with the honey and wheat. Very lemony and fruity. Interesting- tastes more like a little lambic than a Berliner, really. Light, fizzy, and extremely drinkable.

Bomber to tulip (shared with the Mrs.; thanks for muling this for me, DrSilverworm!). Batch ’13, bottle #198/204. Looks good; a slightly cloudy yellowish-orange with white lacing that dissipates quickly. Smells and tastes solid; tart, doughy, and a little funky. Nice on the palate. A good example of the style.

Wow - that’s sour! Love the wheat haze. Really nice with a tart salad and a fun pizza.
