On tap at the pub. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma boozy bourbon rich chocolate notes. Flavor chocolate roasted notes some slight bourbon and vanilla. Sweet but with a roasted bitterness on the finish mediumto full bodied.

Dec 30, 2009 Dark brown color/ no head. Big whiskey vanilla aroma with black malt, pit fruits. Medium body. Over the top boozy bourbon vanilla flavor with chocolate, mild sour wood.

Dec 18, 2009 Had on tap at Jackie O’s Anniversary Party. Side by side tasting with the regular version. Why ruin a good thing? Loved the standard version. This one was a bit too "Boozy" for me and kind of masked all that was god with the regular version. A bit more wood on the flavor and a ton of hotness. Eh, I will just take the old standard.

Oak and bourbon aromas. Black strong in alcohol and rich on the palate with a crisp bitter and hoppy coffee roast finish.

Oct 11, 2009 Sampled at GABF, Jackie-Os was one of the standouts easily. Maybe the best line up. Smooth roasty aroma with lots of bourbon. Flavor is smooth, boozy. Chocolate, vanilla all wrapped in delicious bourbon. Awesome. Would love to get some more of this.

similar to aroma, everything one should want when it comes to barrel aged beers, boozy yet smooth and delicious, Hints of chocolate/cocoa powder, vanilla with warming bourbon.

Oct 2, 2009 GABF Taster X4 pours out black topped with a brown head. Aroma was rich malts, dark roast, chocolate, molasses, oak, and some vanilla. Taste wow every thing your nose told you and more. Thick mouth full of sweetness and a good balance of hops to hold it all together.
