>> Thanks alexsdad06 for the share. Pours clear amber red, weaker foam. Nose is Twizzlers, blondie, limoncello. Taste is thin, tart, lemon. Palate is weaker. Wouldn’t peg this as a quad, seems to have soured.

Bottle with thanks to Jmikolitch! Pours clear ruby chestnut, small brown head, some lacing. Aroma is very malty, sugary, boubon. Flavor is sweet, oaky, bourbon, cotton candy, molasses, toffee, some windex, yeast. Fairly astringent, little bitterness. Medium body. This is a very woody beer. Woody. Woody. The more I drink the more I detect a bit of tartness, I wonder if there is a bit of infection here? Woody. Oh, and woody.

pours dark brown reddish with a small light beige head, some retention and lacing. quasi-quad *tm nose, caramel and toffee, wood, red fruit acidity, booze, chocolate, raisins, blackberries, demerara, bourbon vanilla. light acidity - welcomed even for the style. average to moderate carbonation, some sweetness, medium body - oily, spicy and moderately sweet finish. much enjoyed!

Bottle (22 oz). From pandableh, thanks Dan! Dark amber with a small beige ring of foam and not much lacing. Aroma is comparable to other good bourbon barrel quad with bourbon, caramel, dark fruits, raisins and brown sugar. Taste is a tad problematic with a touch of acidity (maybe the beginning of an infection), way fruitier than aroma and a touch of bourbon. Light body. Low carbonation. Somewhat oily. It’s impressive how different the aroma and the taste are, but it’s probably because of an infection. That’s bad because the aroma was enticing.

Pours a dark red with a low beige head that leaves light lacing. Aroma is nice and features dark fruits, caramel, brown sugar and bourbon. Taste is nice too with raisins, caramel and lightly tart notes. Carbonation was low, texture a bit oily. I enjoyed it.

Bottle 22oz. Pours very deep red with low beige head. Aroma is of alcohol, caramel, butterscotch, alcohol, plums, strawberries, raisins. Taste is of alcohol, malt, berries, dark fruits, very slight acidity, sugar. Palate: Medium-full body. Overall: Not cloying. Very fruity. Pretty good. Nice complexity.

Bottle. There it is, 2000 ratings. Never thought I’d make it. Deep red pour, small lacing, white head. Aroma of raisins, red licorice, strawberries, dark cherries, quite fruity, light brown sugar notes. Taste is fruity, boozy, unfortunately quite tart. Palate is thin, like excessively wood-aged beers get, thin and tart. Unfortunate.

Bottle shared by Dave. Aroma is sour grape, figs, browned apple, and chocolate. Pours dark red with slight wispy film. Taste is off. Sour apple, rotten citrus, chocolate, and toffee. The barrel notes are there but the rest of the beer appears to have been infected.

Pours a dark and slightly hazy brown with no head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla and oak, lots of booze. Taste is boozy bourbon, vanilla, dark fruits and oak. A bit too boozy for my liking but its expected for what it is.
