Cloudy dark red brown beer. No head. Dry palate. A distinct milky cream note before a dry sourness kicks in along with herbal bitterness. A little coca cola. Finishes dry and slightly bitter with some of the milkyness coming back. Okay but a bit off the wall and not this particular example not my cup of tea.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2012 Bottle. Poured clear reddish brown color with a minimal frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy vanilla, cherry wood aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a bourbon cherry sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Very enjoyable brew. Tap edit. 12/16/12.

Growler share by JW77! Brown pour. Aroma is a wonderful mix of bourbon, dark fruits and peat. Flavor is full of booze and fruit. Bourbon is upfront and bold. Good stuff.

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Mostly clear, deep, dark ruby ale. The smoky aromatics provide notations of oak, black tea, medium sherry and bourbon. Medium-bodied with busy carbonation. Black tea, light smoke and toasted caramel are highlights flavor-wise, but a measure of acidity cannot be ignored. Finishes tangy and dry. World class bottle of beer provided by darkguardian!

Thanks to goryshkewych for sending this one my way! Poured a medium to deeper and muddy brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of oaky/woodiness, lighter bourbon, some earthiness, vanilla, caramel, and some dark fruits. Tastes of bourbon (more than the aromas but not over powering), wood, vanilla, and some dark fruits.
