Growler shared by a friend. Pours an inky black color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Bourbon, coffee and dark malts in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, roasted coffee and earthy malt. The finish is bourbon and mocha with a lingering coffee aftertaste. Really enjoyable all around.

Taster on tap at Jackie-Os, public house side. Black color. Little tan head, decent bits of lace. Awesome, big turkish coffee-like aroma to this. Very big, chewy body. Lightly dry finish. Lighter, lightly soft carbonation. Moderate to bigger bitter, light sweet, light heat and bite in the finish. Just a slight burn, tastes like a very big beer, but its delicious. Tons of coffee, and a lightly spicy vanilla bourbon note. Awesome stuff.

Growler. Dark brown to black pour with a small tan head. The aroma is full of super strong fresh roasted coffee with some chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is also full of strong coffee with some bourbon, oak, vanilla and chocolate. Thick mouthfeel and low carbonation. Awesome

Draft at Jackie os. Pours black in color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have strong roasted coffee, espresso, roasted malt, some dark chocolate and caramel, char, bourbon is well integrated and the coffee keeps it in check, good bitterness to the finish. This is all about the coffee.

On tap at Jackie Os during the 8th Anniversary celebration on 12/13/13. Black pour with a medium light brown head. Aroma of coffee, bourbon and chocolate, all perfectly balanced. Coffee and chocolate flavor with smooth bourbon before a roasty coffee finish. Best beer of the weekend. Drank several snifters over the two days and never got tired of it.

On draft at Hunahpu Day. Pours a nice inky stout color with a tan head. Nose is roast, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, oak, and some light booze. Flavor is similar with roast, bourbon, oak, vanilla, booze, some light coconut, and some big coffee. Medium in body and very nice overall.

Draft pour at Jackie-Os. Pours a thick black with a khaki colored head of foam. The aroma is big bitter coffee with a lot of roast character and then a big dose of bourbon comes in to balance the coffee out. The taste is a brash, bitter coffee and then a burn of bourbon coming through in the finish. Thick mouthfeel and lower carbonation.
