Fantastic beer!! Josh C! Thanks for the bottle!!
Pours dark black with a think dark head that fades rather quickly. The nose on this one if fantastic! Tons of bourbon, vanilla and some coffee. The taste follows that nose perfectly! Great bourbon, chocolate and coffee that mixes wonderfully.
Great mouthfeel, very thick and satisfying.
Overall, I will try to get this bottle again at every opportunity! Donít miss out if you can get it.

Thanks to optimator13 on BA for shipping me this tasty beverage!
Coffee is of the earthy quality rather than the Starbucks latte quality. Bourbon is well utilized. Chocolate brownies. Good beer, not overwhelmingly sweet like the Vanilla/Rum combo was.

705ml shared at the 2011 Hunahpuís release but I donít remember who opened it. Whoever you are, thanks a ton!
Pours a deep dark chocolate brown color with faint hints of mahogany edges when held to a light and a one finger dark mocha head. Good retention, slowly fading into a lasting ring that leaves sporadic spots of lace behind.
Amazing silky chocolate aroma with a deep roasted mocha coffee/espresso bean presence. that isnít burnt or acrid at all. Hints of chocolate tootsie roll(but somehow not artificial), caramel, toffee and hazelnut as well as a faint bourbon barrel presence. Subtle booze with hints of vanilla and oak but this beer mostly smells like the best coffee ever brewed. Amazing nose!
Chewy full body with an excellent balance of roasted espresso, silky milk and bittersweet dark chocolate. Hints of hazelnut, toffee, oatmeal and luscious chocolate malts. incredibly smooth, well balanced with a well masked ABV. No alcohol heat whatsoever making this beer dangerously quaffable. Slightly smokey, dry and roasted but still sweet with a very faint bourbon barrel presence. Again, there is slight boozy bourbon sweetness with sweet vanilla and marshmallow notes. The bourbon is there but the coffee flavor is so ridiculously smooth and prominent that it takes a back seat.
Overall, this beer far exceeded my expectations. I find most of the Jackie Oís beers that Iíve tried so far to be overrated but this beer is excellent and totally legit. Please trade me more.

Thanks to my Ohio connection for this one. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Nose is nice dark, roasted chocolatey coffee with slight vanilla, roasted malts, and just enough barrel to add complexity. Flavor is similar with coffee, coffee all over, dark chocolate, vanilla, breaking into some chocolatey kopi coffee with bourbon and a hint of wood. Flavor profile is medium-bodied and just exuding goodness all over. Very enjoyable.

Bottle, from MikeTD, Wow, this was awesome. the coffee just adds such a great flavor, the taste from this is hauntingly awesome. barrel treatment takes a nice back seat and adds complementary flavors as opposed to dominate like a Bourbon County Stout So so good.

Tasted on 4/28/12 with the Nashville and Knoxville crews at Curtisí old house, big thanks to JR for bringing this one. Pours nearly black with a thin tan head that leaves no lacing. The nose is dominated by coffee with dark chocolate, vanilla, coconut, maple, and toffee. The flavor is sweet with malted milk, and all of the same vanilla, dark chocolate, coconut, and maple. The body is full with average, smooth carbonation and a long coffee, vanilla, and coconut finish.

On tap at Jackie Os on the day of the release. This was the last beer of the day before the 7 hour trip home. I could taste this brew the whole way home. Intense stuff. Dark pour with a thin chestnut colored head and a little lace. Aroma is muted bourbon and oaky tannins overwhelmed by the infamous kopi luwak. Some may say the coffee is so intense that it takes away from the barrel. It might but its still insanely good. Roast, bakers chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, caramelized sugar and resinous coffee. Lingering coffee aftertaste

Bottle shared at a recent BA/RB tasting... Poured black like oil with a light tan head. Like fresh pressed coffee and a nice strong bourbon kick. Sweet in the end with malts, roast, mocha, and vanilla.

Black pour. This beer is simply a coffee and chocolate lovers dream. Just the right amount of toasty malts and hops give this beer great body and balance.
