3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sparky (2130) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 3, 2011
Bomber. Pours near black with a thin tan head. The nose is light malt and sour fruit. The taste is vinegar, unripe cherries, light cocoa and red wine. Medium prickly mouthfeel. Not what I was expecting but an ok brew. Nothing to write home about.

Hazy reddish brown with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of wood, cherries, maple syrup, and some bacteria. Taste of wood, brown sugar, maple, sour cherries, some acidity, and a sour finish.

The beer pours dark chestnut brown wiht a very small light tan head. The aroma, my favorite part, is the tart tanginess which is nice, but then the maple sweetness comes in to complement and overpower it in just the right way. The flavor is very sour, light and smooth on the body, and just vague tad of the maple syrup settling with the tartness. Very unique and very good Beace.

Thanks to CaptainCougar for this one. Cloudy dark amber pour with a small head. Nose holds some sweet malt, caramel, apple, plum, and some tart lactic sourness. Not too impressive frankly.

dark red-purple, wispy white ring. Nose of chocolate, plum, bit of sawdust. Flavor is bordering sweet and sour, chocolate and cherry, bit vinous with light brown sugar through end. Low carb, bit flat and sugary, light syrup. Pretty plain, balanced, simple.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 oteyj (2114) - New Hampshire, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Murky brown- no head. Caramel and dark fruit in the nose, followed by cheesy lactic notes. Basically just a brown ale with sour notes. Not too much to say. Medium body with low carbonation and a dry finish.
