Offering shared at RateBeer Grand Tasting 2014 (St. Louis, MO). Pours a deeper orange hue, nice haziness with frothy whitish head atop. Nice layer is thicker, does some nice work, stick around. Aromas are a bit oaky, gentle tannic elements with nice peaches, gentle red wine and sour lactic elemens. A gentle kiss of sweetness. Initial is lighter end of the fold, nice peach mizes with red wine tannins, really nice dynamic. Some oak, gentle tartness. Nice potent sourness, gentle apple and pear, citrus fruit, some bready malt and yogurt. Touches of acidty jab, gentle jabs of sweetness and peach. Backend is dry, a bit tannic and acidic with peach, gentle winey elements. Really well integrated, gentle carbonation and faint funk (which you canít fake). Finish is dry, a bit fruity and some nice trailing sourness. In check, not overdone. Nice stuff. Nose a touch sweeter

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, big thanks to Aaron for this one! Hazy orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought nice white grape, chardonnay, oak, hints of peach, apricot, hints of vanilla, lemon, lactic notes, nice. Taste is a mix of peach, white wine, grape, hints of oak, vanilla, slight spice, hints of earth, finishing fairly dry, slightly tart.

Pours a slightly hazy peachy yellow color with a finger or two of fizzy white foam. Lots of tart peach, soft apricot and mellow cream of wheat mingles with more rustic grain, barnyard funk and some wet barrel complexity of vinous fruit and earth.

A - pours clear apricot honey with no head. S - the nose is astounding. Peaches, wet hay and oak, light wine notes and a malty sweet honey floral end. Light acetic notes. M - medium body, my and thick mf. Dry end. T - the taste is less fruit and sweet than the nose. Floral and honey notes sit atop bitter grasses and malty sweet palate. Wet wood and underripe grape skins. End is dry and acetic. The fruity notes of dried sulfury apricots and tinny canned pineapple juice. O - really nice sour. A bit malty.
