when i sit around and pour, the aroma of red wine and peach emanates. . nothing too crazy here, the mouth is satisfying. . last beer of the night, good night. now to go get a nightcap next door at the avenue pub.
.. . after I die, wherever my spirit goes,i’m going to try to get back and visit my skeleton at least once a year, because, ‘hey, old buddy, how’s it going?

Bottle... Pours hazy and dirty-orange with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is a mélange of peaches, damp fallen-wood mustiness, and some pretty nice funkiness. Medium to full-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor is lightly sour, moderately sweet and loaded with juicy peaches. Tangy, tongue-numbing finish. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!

This beer here, this beer I had @ the Grand Tasting... Compliments of phaleslu of course.
Pours a sort of lightly hazy orange with a good head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is funky and oaky with a nice bit of peach fruitiness and some light earthy character.

The flavor is peppery and tart. The beer is surprisingly dry with a light breadiness, some oak and some light peach character.

Not especially indicative of what I think of when I think of Saison, but nice beer for sure.

Bottle via my 2013 "Staff" membership. RIP to a fairly priced, but badly run, reserve society. Pours a deep golden orange with moderate white head. Fruity, not really peach, aroma with some plum and honey, dry white wine. Taste is cabernet wine over and over with a slight sourness at the finish with the peach not coming into play much. Very bitter as it finishes. Not nice overall.

Bottle @ RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting. Thanks, Peter. Bright orange pour with a white head. Sweet peach and citrus. Some grape juice, red wine, and oak. A bit of grass and lemon zest. Lightly sour on the palate. Fair amount of red wine and peach. Kind of tannic and dry. Grass, vanilla, and some very light funk.

Offering shared at RateBeer Grand Tasting 2014 (St. Louis, MO). Pours a deeper orange hue, nice haziness with frothy whitish head atop. Nice layer is thicker, does some nice work, stick around. Aromas are a bit oaky, gentle tannic elements with nice peaches, gentle red wine and sour lactic elemens. A gentle kiss of sweetness. Initial is lighter end of the fold, nice peach mizes with red wine tannins, really nice dynamic. Some oak, gentle tartness. Nice potent sourness, gentle apple and pear, citrus fruit, some bready malt and yogurt. Touches of acidty jab, gentle jabs of sweetness and peach. Backend is dry, a bit tannic and acidic with peach, gentle winey elements. Really well integrated, gentle carbonation and faint funk (which you can’t fake). Finish is dry, a bit fruity and some nice trailing sourness. In check, not overdone. Nice stuff. Nose a touch sweeter
