A: This is a pretty ugly beer. Murky, opaque, dark reddish/amber with no head. S: Just a wonderful aroma...butter, bourbon, and dark fruits. There is quite a bit of cherry and raspberry aroma. A bit of vanilla and oak with some light chocolate and vinegar. T: As crazy and disjointed as the nose was, the flavor is pretty much the same. Toffee, chocolate, bourbon, and butter are the biggest flavors but there is also a distinct vinegar and raspberry character. M: Medium in body with somewhat low carbonation. O: Just all over the place and not very good.

Bottle South Florida Throwdown 2010 Cloudy caramel-colored ale with very little to no head. The nose offers tons of wood, a boatload of caramel and measured raspberry. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and soft carbonation. The flavor presents a mlange of caramel, tangy berries, moderate acidity, wood and modest alcohol warmth. Finishes tangy, and then malty, caramely and buttery. Bottle courtesy darkguardian!

Dogbrick (10001) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 22, 2010
On draught at the brewpub, served in a snifter. The beer is a murky reddish-brown color with a thin light beige head that diminishes to an outer ring quickly. Short strings of lacing. Sour fruity aroma with some malty notes. Medium body with a moderately sour character and flavors of tart fruit, malt and oak. The finish is tart with a lingering berry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
