Bottle gifted by DrSilverworm. Thanks! Unfiltered orange body. White wine sour, really nice smooth sour tones. Crooked Stave-esque, but more refined, mellow, drinkable. Quite delicious, a perfect hybrid of Saison and Sour. Excellent. Barrel chunky floaties.

Bottle... Pours clear and orange with a tiny, short-lived, white head. The funky nose reeks of stale barnyard manure, saddle leather and horse blanket. Full-bodied with a raspy mouthfeel and vibrant carbonation. The flavor is fruity, funky and modestly tart. Finishes tangy and tongue-numbing. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!

2013 Vintage
Tasted on 2/8/14 from a 22oz bottle at the RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours clear dark yellow with a thin white head that slowly recedes to a thin collar of lace. The nose is spicy yeast, bread malt, and a touch of oaky Chardonnay. The flavor has some lactic sourness with vinous tropical fruit Chardonnay, and the same bread malt from the nose. The body is medium and tannic with lively carbonation and a long sour Chardonnay-esque finish.

Sample @ RBWG Grand Tasting. Deep gold pour with a small head. Slightly molded lemon peel, dank basement. Some buggy wood. Funky lemon sourness. Light brett, cobweb. Deft, simple. Light on the palate. Nice.

Sampled at the RBSG 2014. It poured a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of lemon, chardonnay, citrus hops and some Brett. The taste was of citrus, pineapple and citrus hops with a touch of sourness. Thanks phaleslu.

22 oz. bottle from the release. 2013, numbered out of 275. Pours a clear gold with a white ring for a head. Notes of grapes, apple, oaky funk, florals, hay, grass, lemon zest, and chardonnay. Light-medium bodied, with a tart, fruity, dry mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Pretty good wine barrel aged saison.

Pours a clear golden amber color with a dissipating foam head that ends up forming a nice ring against my glass. The aroma is of subtle yeast, grass like notes, weak citrus scents, minor grape sweetness from the wine, soft oak from aging, and a pleasant malty backbone. In tasting I found characteristics of crisp and semi sweet malt flavors with a mild fruity acidic quality. The finish had an enjoyable acidic fruit grain flavor that lingers with a touch of bitterness that fades perfectly. Overall a fine beverage, very drinkable and flavorful.

Bottle 195/275 A - pours clear light honey with zero head. S - nice. Aromas of white wine, citrus zest and juice, dried grass, yeast, honey and cut grass. Wet musty barrel. M - medium body with low carb. Lightly tart with a dry end. T - over ripe orange and Chardonnay up front. Musty wet oak, yeast, lemon zest, hay, dry grasses and yeast. O - this is almost really good. In the vein of an HF or SARA ba saison, but lacking somehow. Muddled and a little too sweet with no carb. Nice though. 3.9

Bottle at RBWG 2014 grand tasting, thanks! Pours a clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a touch of berry with some wine, light fruits and grain underlying. Flavor has more of a grassy hay note with some light fruits and a dry chardonnay finish.
