3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 84/156 acquired via trade with alexsdad06...thanks again Brad!!! Chestnut/crimson pour produced an eggshell head. Aroma is bright cherry juice, cocoa, vanilla, and oak. Flavor is similar with some roasted malt, caramel, and toffee finding their way. Quite thin, unfortunately, which takes away from the beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Wow, sour cherry awesomeness! The aroma is sour cherries on top of a smooth malt base. It looks dark brown with a ruby hue and decent head. The great smooth flavor of tart cherries on a nice sour base, Delicious!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thanks to Shane (hophead84) and Javier for both bringing this bottle to Woodshop 5.0. Pours a medium cola brown with a reddish tint and a small off white head, some spotty lacing. Great nose of sweet and sour cherries with some roasted malts in the background. Lightly acidic on the palate with nice cherry flavors and a long semi sweet finish, great stuff!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2011 22 oz. bottle 128/384 via trade with Tripphop (BA) - Pours a dark brown color with a 3/4 finger thick tan head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is slight tart cherries, hints of chocolate, and light oak. Very nice. And then I tasted it. I just don’t get this tart/sour craze. The flavor is much like the aroma but, just a little more tart. The dark malt and tart cherries really linger in the finish. Medium to full body. A nice beer. Thanks Tripp.
