COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brown ale was brewed to commemorate the Lungevity Everest Expedition. Brian Oestrike the brother of Jackie Os owner Art, sumitted the unforgiving mountain on May 22nd, 2007. The climb was a vehicle to raise money and awareness about lung cancer. The people of Tibet call Mt. Everest Chomolungma this exceptional ale carries on the spirit of the climb. 8 Malts, 2 hops, and twenty pounds of wild flower honey give this ale an exceptional character. Baked muffins, dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, rich honey and earthy subtle hops caress the palate. Booze soaked chocolate raisins round out the warm finish. Now available in cans.

A very solid Brown Ale on draft at Jackie Os Public House. Tannish brown body produces a toasted malt nose and medium to lighter mouthfeel. At first you think this beer is just a normal brown ale with some roasty character and a little bit of some buttery cocoa touch but the backend offers this unique sweet tinge that really must be the honey. Super drinkable, good beer.

Can. It poured a cloudy dark brown color with a beige head. The aroma was of toffee and malts. The taste was of nuts, toffee, chocolate and some booze. Good stuff.

Pours a hazy dark brown with a tan head. Nice lacing in the glass. Aromas of raisin and dark fruits. Taste is slightly sweet with a bitter finish. Flavors of toast caramel and some coco. Nice ale light to medium mouth feel.

Poured into a perfect pint. Stop #2 on my JOs CANquest raises the stakes with one of my favorite styles being evaluated. 4.5 A: Lightly hazed dark amber light brown color. Two fingers of creamy tan head. Retention is very good and a healthy ring of lacing is left behind. Quite nice. 4.5 S: Oh boy is this a treat to cranial nerve #1. Deep, rich nuttiness flanked by toastiness, caramel sweetness, and cocoa powder. The honey is light, but does add a nice extra layer that complements the main flavors quite well. Just a touch of earthy hops. 4.5 T: Cranial nerves 7, 9, and 10 have a good time now. Nuts, caramel, cocoa again do it right with honey having a bigger role in the taste. Earthy hops again. No complaints, very good. 4.5 M: Medium body. Pleasantly creamy. Good moderate carbonation. 4.5 D: Really solid beer. Maybe Ill actually order it next time Im at JOs. ★ 881 characters DavoleBomb, Mar 28, 2014

Can. Pours dark brown with a rocky beige head. Aromas of brown sugar, molasses and dark fruit. Flavors are honey, gypsum, dark fruit, vanilla, cola, nutty tones and biscuit. Dry finish with earthy hops. Clean mouthfeel. This is somewhere between a classic stout and a brown ale. Malty but dry. Complex flavors! Nice beer.

Aroma was great. Nutty, little chocolate and some sugar. Flavor is a little too light. Gets claggy. Tap.

Sampled on draft at Vintage Estate this beer poured a very dark brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was malty, dark fruits and a tough toasty. The flavor was malty and a touch toasty with dark fruits. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.

Had this many times, this one is from a can at home. Pours a caramel brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have mild roasted malt, toasted grains, honey, a nutty character, some sweetness, also some earthy character, a touch of dark chocolate, better than your average brown.

Pours dark brown with thin light mocha head. Smells hops and coffee. Mouthfeel is light and low carbonation. Tastes hops with honey sweetness and coffee hints. Good one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
