This hauntingly good brew in your hand is rife with dark complexities. Eleven malts were used to create deep flavors of coffee, chocolate, caramel, and molasses. A hint of bitterness and herbal character from carefully selected American hops help support the monolithic maltiness of Dark Apparition. A truly decadent brew that is intended to be poured into your favorite snifter and given time to warm up from its dark and cold resting place. Be aware when in the presence of Dark Apparition ’cause this ghost is a creeper.

Mycket gott!

Pours opaque dark chocolate brown with a nice golden-tan head. Aroma delivers roast malt, caramel, mocha and molasses tones. Flavor delivers all that the aroma promises while ramping up the chocolate and adding a snip of licorice. Mouthfeel features firm body and good fizz. Join the dark side - we have beer!

bottle @ Chief Market / Lima OH --- Aroma of malt and dark fruit. Opaque brown / black color, brown head that quickly drops to a thin cover, sheets of lace. Taste is rich toasted malt that adds chocolate and coffee for balance as it moves to a big, satisfying, long finish. As rich as it gets, but never heavy in the belly. A superb malty brew. Worth seeking out.
