COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hauntingly good brew in your hand is rife with dark complexities. Eleven malts were used to create deep flavors of coffee, chocolate, caramel, and molasses. A hint of bitterness and herbal character from carefully selected American hops help support the monolithic maltiness of Dark Apparition. A truly decadent brew that is intended to be poured into your favorite snifter and given time to warm up from its dark and cold resting place. Be aware when in the presence of Dark Apparition ’cause this ghost is a creeper.

375ml bottle in a wine glass. Pours black with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some dark chocolate and coffee notes, dark fruits, some light notes of bitterness, and some dough. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Smooth texture. A good imperial stout.

Pour from a bottle is a nice opaque black with a light tan head, aroma is soft with a little cocoa nibs and molasses. Taste is a nice combo of molasses, cocoa nibs and coffee. After taste is a little bitter and dry but goes down smooth.

Pours dark with moderate brown head that dissipated quickly. Aroma is sweet, alcohol, slight cocoa. Taste is light molasses, maybe bittersweet chocolate, very mild coffee. Mouthfeel is nice, a little heavy, mild alcohol burn. Overall good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good beer and old football games with Mads. Black with a lasting tan head. Lots of chocolate in the aroma, with notes of coffee and vanilla, and a little hint of fruity hops. Sweet roasted flavour with herbal and fruity hops, and a notable touch of hot alcohol

Bottle @ Denmark-Sovjet, 1985. World Cup Mexico Qualification. Shared with Christian. Pours black with a creamy head. Nose is roast, soy, coffee and fruit. Smooth and full bodied. Dates and figs beneath some chocolate , sweet vanilla and dusty coffee. Full bodied. Vaguely disappointing.
