Draft at Cappys during the Jackie Os tap takeover, served in a flight. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a small white head that settles into a ring and an island of film. Notes of lemon peel, florals, sweat, grass, pine, and lime. Light-bodied, with a bitter but clean mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Nice pale ale.

Sample from growler. The beer pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a medium thick fluffy white head that dissipates gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of grassy hops, citrus, pine and malt. The finish is dry and mildly bitter with a lingering fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at JOs. Pours a lightly hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma has grapefruit and citrus with lighter notes of resin and grass. All with some base tasted caramel malt. The flavor has the same toasted bread, caramel, dry grass, citrus and pine resin. Mild to moderate bitterness to the finish.

Growler from the pub side. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a thick white head. Aroma is very hoppy and aromatic, citrus and some earthy evergreen spice. Flavor is well balanced between sweet caramel malt and spicy hop, hop flavor is just like aroma would suggest nicely bitter with lots of different hop layers spicy bitterness earthy flavor some citrus cuts through the caramel character of the malt. Overall this beer is pretty good a nice try on a cool fall day very dry and crisp with lots of hop.

Draft. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate complex hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Sample at Jackie Os during the bottle release on 8/18/12. Clear amber pour with a medium tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, light citrus, pine and grass. Sweet malt flavor with some butteriness and a bit of citrus before a grassy finish.

Poured on draft. Pours a pale gold with a thick white head of foam. The aroma is light and piny and citrusy. You can tell there is some hop bitterness there, but its not overpowering in the least. The taste is where some bitterness comes through, but its more like the hop profile is there minus the signature bitterness. This is really and odd and interesting beer.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2013 On tap at Jackie Os. Served in a sampler glass. Pours a nice golden color. The nose brings a great whiff of tropical and citrus hops. Very aromatic. Flavor is very smooth with plenty of hoppy fruit flavors coming through. Bitterness is very much in check, making this a very, very drinkable brew, and a perfect one for summer.
