COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dynamo Hum was a beer I set out to create over 3 years ago. Started with a small 5 gallon project where I soured some of our Razz Wheat. After finding some promising results from one of my first experiments in wild fermentation, I quickly filled a cabernet barrel with Razz Wheat and let it do its thing. A year into the aging, I added 30 pounds of locally harvested raspberries and let the beer develop for almost another year. This barrel quickly became my favorite barrel in our sour program. This framboise aged for over 22 months before we decided it was time to release it to the public. It is sad to see it go, but that same barrel has been filled again, and will reap a new dynamo brew in due time.

damn this is tart. Extremely strong tart (tooth enamel removing tartness) flavors throughout. Though to get anything else, I guess they say raspberries, can only get that from the color.

22 oz. bottle, pours a fairly clear pinkish red with almost no head. Nose brings out shitloads of raspberries, some lacto and a touch of barrels. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of raspberries, lacto, perfumey notes and vinous qualities. Acetic and tart on the finish, but not overly so, not overly complex. Pretty good, but nothing special.

Very little sweetness. M: Light body, prickly carbonation. O: I really like raspberry beers. This is no exception. Recommended.

Bomber. Pours a red color with a large pinkish head. A huge fresh berry nose, vanilla, oak, very funky. Tart, oak, massive raspberries, very fresh tasting, a bit of vanilla. This comes in much like a lambic and is full of Brett goodness, but the show is all in the fruit additions. Very good. Actually awesome.

Bottle shared by a kind soul at Kulminator. Pours intense reddish pink with a tiny light pink head. Intense fresh raspberry juice aromas, together with lemon and lime peel. Highly sour body wbut with an explosion of fresh fruits. Lacks a bit of debt and complexity but nice, very nice (makes one think about De Cam Framboise). Only little tart.

Pour at WTF poured a clear garnet with a small lasting pink head. Aromas of raspberry, citrus and barnyard funk. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of rasp berry, straw and light funk with a crisp dry tart lingering raspberry finish.

From the April 2014 3R6P gathering. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky pinkish-orange color with a small foamy white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was tart and sour with a vague fruity presence. The flavor was very tart and sour, chalky and had some berry. Long tart and sour berry finish. Medium body.
