COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We took our Razz wheat and soured it with B. Lambicus, Pediocaccus, and Lactobacilious it was then blended with our Organic Honey Nut Brown. Then blend was keg conditioned for 6 months allowing the wild yeast and bacteria to gorge themselves on the sugar rich nut brown portion of the blend. This beer is ripe with complexities including a fruity, musty, beady, and leathery nose and a light caramel covered raspberry flavor that finishes very tart and semi dry.

Bottle (22 oz). Shared by mathieuc, thanks! Dark amber with a small beige head and light lacing. Aroma of raspberries, light/moderate acetic notes, light caramel, oak and light sweetness notes. Taste is slightly sweet and moderately acetic with raspberries, caramel, oak and light nutty presence. Light/medium body. Low/moderate carbonation. Acetic mouthfeel. Mouth puckering. Dry. Weird beast here. It’s hard to tell that the base beer is a Berliner Weisse. Fruity and acetic. Not easily drinkable, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Bottle thanks to AlexFields, thanks a lot! Pours a medium red with no real head, only a small ring. Aroma is really acetic and fruity. Taste is fruity (raspberries again?) and a bit of harsh acid. I didn’t take much notes but this one I had really high expectations for and it fell short.

Pours amber brown in color with a red hue. It is lightly carbonated with a bubbly and sticky weak head. The aroma is of raspberries, a mild level of funk, oak notes, and a hint of sweet malts. In the flavor I picked up on tart fruit, sugar, biscuit malts, and a slight sweet carmel taste from the grains. The finish is nice. It was not too acidic. I noticed fruit, yeast, semi dryness, and malts. Overall this is a nice beverage.

22 oz. bottle. 2012 Staff release, bottle 240/320. Pours a clear mahogany-amber with a small beige head. Aroma of raspberries, sweet and toasty malts, oak, leather, and plenty of sour, musty funk. The flavor is not quite as funky, featuring lots of tart, clean berries (raspberry, blackberry, blueberry), oak, leather, and grapes. Light-medium bodied, with a tart, vinous mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Really nice berry-forward sour. Glad they made this one again.

Taster at Jackie-Os. Mostly clear dark red / brown color. Minimal white head. Awesome big tart, sour, near puckering taste. Big spicy rapsberry aroma. Lots of complex wood character. Medium to bigger body. Kind of tingly, crisp carbonation, with a more sticky finish. Light spicy acidic sour bite. Long, sour, spicy finish. Awesome, very sour, tart complex raspberry ale. Very enjoyable to sip, very snappy.

This was a treat to try a few ounces of. Pitch black, nose was a mix of grapes, raspberries and blue berries. taste was tart, sour but no vinegar at all. very nice balance but still pretty one dimensional. fruit lasted a long time in the finish.
