Growler shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured clear orange amber color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate green chili and balanced aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Warm chili and small bitter flavor and medium bitter finish of moderate duration. Interesting and my expectations were met.

Pour from a 32 oz. growler shared by DrSilverworm- thanks again, Chris! Pours a cloudy orange-gold with small white bubbles around the edge. Aroma of habanero pepper, caramel and pale malts, and a little grass. The flavor hits the same notes. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, spiced mouthfeel. Surprisingly mild for a pepper beer. Very subdued. Not a whole lot to it.

Growler to taster (thanks DrSilverworm). Looks solid; a semi-transparent orange with thin white lacing. Smells of sweet malt and mild pepper spice. Tastes like it smells with a good, balanced mouthfeel. Not bad, but pretty mild.

2-day old 32oz growler, shared with the local group. Mostly hazy vibrant golden orange color. Good thin off-white head. Some dots of lace. Medium body. Good smooth kind of crisp lighter carbonation, more dry texture. Habanero is subtle, but noticeable for sure. Not too spicy, but offers a nice (lightly) spicy kick in the finish, which is a nice, interesting twist for this classic amber. Besides that, good balance of lightly grassy hop and caramel, lightly toasty malts from the Firefly base. More sweet, light bitter taste, with a nice lightly spicy-hot habanero kick. Its lightly hot, though - this would register a 2 or 3 on the thai food spiciness scale, Id say (disclaimer: Im not a thai-food aficionado). Cool, intriguing lightly spicy beer. Probably the most reserved spicy-pepper beer Ive had, which is cool. Its important to strike that balance
