Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a hazy pale yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of funky fruit, yeast and spice. Light to medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, funky yeast and touches of malt. The finish is moderately tart with a fruity aftertaste. Solid Sour overall.

tap at JOs anny party. Crisp is a good way to describe it, the brett flavors strike me oddly as im not accustomed to a lot of brett beer, but this is a crisp tart beer which goes as quickly as it came. good stuff.

Sample on tap at Jackie-Os 7th. Hazy yellow color. Minimal white head. Nice oaky tart nose and flavor. Great long-lasting tart finish. Dry texture, medium body, more crisp light carbonation. Very enjoyable brew, perfect amount of sour strength for me

Bottle thanks to pantanap. Pours a very light and bright golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is nicely tart with a bright lemony fruity note, sharp and really nice tropical fruitiness all around, bright and fresh with a brett and soft funkiness that all blend really well. The fruitiness really rides in the finish. So refreshing, great beer.

Pours a pale hazy yellow with no head. Aroma of Brett, tropical fruits and citrus. Taste follows, bitter grapefruit and lemon. Funky yet smooth. Subtle yet delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz. bottle via trade. 2011 release. Bottle 45/216. Pours a hazy gold color with no head. Aroma of mango, papaya, pineapple, bretty funk, herbs, apples, straw, and lemon. Really fruity. The flavor has more tartness and not quite as much fruit and funk. Light-medium bodied, with low carbonation and a tart, juicy mouthfeel. Kind of had a Belgian character to it. Good beer.

I absolutely LOVE this beer! I have recently been thrust into the sour world and this is one of the ones that I have really enjoyed. This is the cleanest tasting sour that I have tried among all of them. Not too sour/tart, just a perfect balance to me. Im sure many people will find it one dimensional, but for those of us not used to getting our tastebuds blasted off by a sour, this is the way to go. Nice job Brad and Jackie Os!!

Bottle, 07/08/2012. Pours hazy copper orange with thin head, fades relatively quickly. Definitely a nice tropical fruit vibe in the aroma, citrus, tart, with straw malts and brett in the end. Taste is bright, tart fruitiness- pineapple and lemon zest, paw paw?(tart cherry-banana like quality), dry brett finish, funky. Lively, sparkling palate, moderate body. Really nice stuff.

Sampled at the brewpub (Athens, OH). Pours a richly straw hue, yellowish with a big hazy body. Frothy whitish head atop froths well, sticks around bigger and laces well. Aromas offer a knock dead tropical fruit, melon, and some mango elements. Lemons, oranges, and touches of ester fruit. White grape, fuzzy white peach, bready malts, straw. Firm bretty elements give pineapple, funk, and cobwebs. Initial is lighter bodied offering firm funky elements, some sharper funky brett, citrusy fruit, pineapple. Vibrant fruity elements (though the nose cant be beat) offer touches of melon, grapefruit and lemons, tropical fruit and bready touches of malt, yogurty lactic element. Middle and backend remain a bit more bretty, funk, cobwebs as the finish gets a touch more to the tart side, lingering citrus and tropical fruits, yogurt, funky dusty brett. Well done.

From notes. Pours golden straw, thin fizzy white head. Nose is tart and sweet, almost Chardonnay like. Flavor is of sweet fruit with some funk, green apple, apricot, mango, a bit of tart mild vinegar. Light body with high carbonation. Very nice.
