Hazy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett, stone fruit, wood, some vanilla, toast and toffee. Taste of citrus, apple, wild yeast, wood, some vanilla, and a sour finish.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2013 Sampled from the tap at the brewery during the 5th anniversary party. Poured a hazy pale gold with a white head that started at the edges and dissipated completely. Aroma had a nice fruity note (slightly tart,) some citrus, some earthy grains and a nice subtle funk backing. Flavor started with a slightly tart fruit note and a floral note. Sweet earthy grains joined in leading to a very smooth and deliciously balanced beer.

I absolutely LOVE this beer!
I have recently been thrust into the ’sour world’ and this is one of the ones that I have really enjoyed. This is the cleanest tasting sour that I have tried among all of them. Not too sour/tart, just a perfect balance to me. I’m sure many people will find it one dimensional, but for those of us not used to getting our tastebuds blasted off by a sour, this is the way to go.
Nice job Brad and Jackie O’s!!
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Damico (1920) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2011
It pours clear yellow with a deep orange hue and small white head. The aroma is awesome - light sour funk sweetness that is so pleasant in the nose. The flavor is just as smooth as the aroma, it tastes light funky and tangy that has no bite or puckering at all on the palate. The body is the perfect carbonation for the style as well, so balanced just as Beace would do. One of my favorite from the brewery easily.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 jtclockwork (5102) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 8, 2011
Bottle. Pours radioactive apricot. Nose and taste of mildly tart tropical fruits, Brett, mango and oak. Lots of soft carbonation. Medium body. Well balanced. Moderate tartness. Finishes with lots of fresh tropical fruits.

22oz bottle courtesy of GatorGuy92. Thanks, Matt! Pours a very hazy yellow with big receding white head. Nose is tropical fruit, some crushed aspirin, sweet malt, and hints of citrus. Flavor is a wonderful blend of sweet and wild- tartness, citrus, malt, mango?, and hints of vinegar. Awesomeness in a bottle. Very enjoyable.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 SSKD814 (854) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 3, 2011
A-Body is a uniformly foggy light grapefruit (pinkish white) colored hue. Served with virtually no head. The brew is a very interesting, beautiful, unique hue.
S- Classic sour nose. Mild sour tartness with a milder citrus-fruity backbone. A slight funkiness and breadiness in the backbone.
T- Brett funk all over the place- much like Orval or Ommegeddon- with a sharp pink grapefruit backbone. The finish is much funkier with the brett really shining through.
M- Medium carbonation and a light drinkable body.
D- This is a very interesting, unique brew. Juicy grapefruit and citrus meet funky wildness. The flavor isnt really sour at all-whereas the nose is. Great beer overall.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 FunkyBrewster (1513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Bottle thanks to pantanap. Pours a very light and bright golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is nicely tart with a bright lemony fruity note, sharp and really nice tropical fruitiness all around, bright and fresh with a brett and soft funkiness that all blend really well. The fruitiness really rides in the finish. So refreshing, great beer.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, big thanks to Aaron for the pour! Pour is hazy orange with thin white head, aroma has notes of pineapple, biscuit, mango, some slight caramel notes in there as well, hints of funk. Taste is a really nice mix of pineapple, lemon, lactic acid, hints of biscuit and bread, touch of tropical fruit, finishes a bit sweet, tart, and fairly dry. Nice stuff!

Jackie O’s funky south paw. Swingtop bottle straight from the source.
Compliments of brad... Pours a medium hazy apricot orangey brown with
a thin film of wispy white head quickly retreating towards the sides
of the glass... Aroma of bretty pineapple notes, citrus, and a slight
aspirin medicinal earthiness...Flavors are surprisingly pretty tart
and juicy with pineapple and tangerine citrus notes. A bit of earth
and bittering hops mid-palate and holding on through towards the
finish. Some grains and cereal on the backend as well. Medium bodied
with adequate carbonation. Quite tasty overall with the Brett having a
large grip and influence.
