3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample at the brewpub. Hazy amber pour with a fluffy white head. Malty nose with notes of yeast esters, brown sugar and maple. Banana and spice flavor up front, followed quickly by bitter earthy hops to the finish.

On tap, served in a goblet at the brewpub for $4. Completely hazy peach color. A nice gradient of pale amber to darker amber with a nice hue of red. Nice, slightly off-white head leaving a solid row of drippy lace. I’m seeing the peanut aroma that someone else mentioned in this, as well as a nice orange hop citrus. It’s a nice blend. Great, light and crisp carbonation, good dry texture. Nice honey aftertaste. Good, light sweet taste. An interesting and tasty take on the Firefly Amber.
