3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: NOV 10, 2013 On draft. This beer has no aroma and looks like pee, so it will under perform here. But flavor! Big hop presence - grapefruit - equaled by huge, spicy rye. Superb combo. A real winner.

Not very good. Not very good at all. Really not very good at all. Unbalanced rye and nothing else. Very sad.

Draft - pours deep gold with white head and decent lacing. Nose is floral and pine. Flavor adds more pine. Wet hop and mildly bitter for the style. Sticky. For my first JO beer, I’m a bit disappointed. Still a good beer.

Pours orangish gold with white head and some lacing. Aroma is light. Maybe some carmel and citrus hops. Taste is much more powerful with sweet dark fruits, grapefruit hops, and spicy rye for good measure.

This has been on tap alot recently and for good reason. I think with rye you are either a fan or you are not, I am a fan as I think the rye gives a unique spice to the beer that you cant get with hops. It has very good bitterness to it the finish is lingering and the rye spice is very noticeable. When it is on draft it is one I always get.

Draught at Dutch’s. Orange body. Nice hoppy bitter IPA with great overall flavor. Rye not so much for me, but very pleasant to drink. Wish this was in Lexington (hint hint).
