From the news section of Jackie-Os website: "Hop Ryot has hit the taps and I believe that this is the finest IPA that we have produced here at Jackie Os. Get to the pub to try this rye IPA, or look for it on draft at Bodega in Columbus." ... On the chalkboard-menu in the bar (as of spring 2011): "So freakin good!"

Pour from a 12oz can at the Hocking Hills Dining Lodge. Light amber brew iwth white head. Aroma of pine, fruit, citrus. Taste is dry with a notable rye presence, bitter, hops forward with a fine mix of resin and citrus hops. A little less refined and smooth than their mystic mamma IPA but excellent nonetheless.

Can. Golden orange, white head. Rye malty base, floral and light citric hops, low sweetness, and a balanced finish with light lingering bitterness. Good stuff.

Semi-hazed orange/yellow pour with filmy white head and lacing. Some spice from the rye is there along with mild citrus notes, a bit soapy, a bit earthy. Dry finish.

Pours a mostly clear golden yellow with ample head. Strong hoppy aroma with citrus notes. Strong hoppy bitterness with citrus/woodsy flavors. Goes down smoothly with medium body. Very solid IPA, excellent for a warm evening.

Can. Pours clear orange with a medium off white head that dissipates leaving decent lacing. Aroma is kinda piney, spruce, a bit of dankness. Flavor follows, light sweet, light plus bitter, perhaps a touch of rye spiciness. Medium body. Decent.

Great tasting rye IPA. This one is dry at first but finishes with a hoppy, fruit, citrus backing. Good beer and very enjoyable ipa from the can.

Bright hazy orange with a big white head. Bold fruity aroma with floral notes and a bit of spice underneath. Slightly malt sweetness backing the whole thing up. Whew, buddy. This is a good one. Rocking citrus and floral hops punched up with a nice spicy rye bite. The malt sweetness is still there holding it all together but comes across very smooth and not distracting. I only bought one can. I will be buying a case soon, Im sure.

Pours light Amber with good head. Smells hops. Light with low carbonation. Bitterness is balanced. Not too bitter. Overall a good one for hop heads! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
