3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This has been on tap alot recently and for good reason. I think with rye you are either a fan or you are not, I am a fan as I think the rye gives a unique spice to the beer that you cant get with hops. It has very good bitterness to it the finish is lingering and the rye spice is very noticeable. When it is on draft it is one I always get.

Can at Moerlein Lager House (despite it being on their draft list). Good hop aroma with a bit of rye. The rye really comes through in the flavor. Solid.

Pours gold with a thin white head. Aroma of malt with a touch of pine. Taste follows, more malt than I’d like.

Can. Orange peel and spicy rye malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange, rye malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body. Definitely so freakin’ good.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can from Vintage Estate. Pours straw golden with white head. Nose is litterbox, citrus, and some pine. Well balanced, nice backbone and citrus hop goodness. Some mild rye notes. Really, really delicious.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a nice, strong grapefruit-centric IPA. This is a cloudy orange golden brew with a head of fine bubbles. Its nose is big citrus with a touch of pine to it as well. It tastes just a little sweet which brings out mandarin orange and floral notes. There is a touch of honey-like malt character but this is really all about the hops. Texture is full bodied and a bit juicy but not too heavy and really very drinkable. It finishes with solid bitterness and just a touch of a pleasant apple skin astringent note. This is a really damn good Ipa, heartily recommended by yours truly to all fans of the style.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
My first beer ever at world of beer franchise. Certainly won't be my last (in the next 10 minutes and thereafter). Sold to me by the bartender as a good local IPA. I have to agree - more of the crisp lite IPA style - hoppy and refreshing. Interesting lacing, color is super light. Taste is solid, fruity hops, not too heavy.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap in Cleveland (OH)
A nice draft also comes in cans for drinking at the ballpark, while picnicking, or after mowing the lawn. It might be past the time of year when I normally look for a session IPA but come 2015 this might get some recommendations from friends looking for a new experience.
Aroma / Appearance - A caramel golden base radiates life with bright carbonation and wispy head for company. Rye, pine, and floor polish scrub the air and leave behind a rough bitterness. Lightweight and airy, it feels ideal for a beer meant to drunk more than once in a single sitting.
Flavor / Palate - Rye, pine, and oaky hops tickle the tongue. A fluid mouthfeel sweeps to a bitter memorable finish bursting with fresh hops. Despite the 6.5% ABV this feels like a beer that would be easy to drink over a long session without too much palate fatigue. Grab a can net time you travel through Ohio.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Source: 12 oz can.
Aroma: nice hop front aroma. Followed quickly with a nice biscuit malt presence.
Color: great pale ale color. Quite a bit of haze.
Taste: malt backbone is in charge. Characteristic rye flavor, well balanced with the hops. Neither the hops or malt override each. They actually take turns showing up on the palate. The rye seems to be the final note on my palate.
Overall:( A-) A great effort in a style of beer I really enjoy, by a brewery that I feel does a great job with most of their beers. If you like rye, you'll like this beer.

Can from a local swap, thanks Jeff! This is quite nice. Intense aroma, on the dank, grassy end of the spectrum. Very bitter, grainy, like rye bread.
