"Lucile is a kriek. I aged it for 33 months. This was a single barrel, no blending. 5% abv with over 60lbs of cherries added over the past 2 years."

Pours a slightly roses golden color with a finger of fizzy gaseous bubbles. Nose has some nice candied cherry, earthy pit, basement funk and complex fruit nuances underneath the musty barrel aromas. The palate follows the nose nicely with a great focused level of fruit, funk and acidity ! Musty sour cherry, pear skin, vanilla, dusty lemon...mysterious beer. Yum!

Bottle share thanks to Homer321. Pours a cloudy light orange color. Sweet tart and big barnyard funky aroma, citrus as well. Sour, tart, citrus, fruity, feel it in the jaws type of sour. Delicious and sour!

Hazy orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some light funk as well as some biscuit and oranges. The flavor is delicious. I get some orange and cherry notes as well as some caramel and toffee. There is also a bit of light chocolate coming through as well as some tart dark fruit. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Great sour.

(22oz bomber #156/197) cloudy strawberry blonde, fine offwhite bubbles. Nose of rich sour cherries, mossy cellar, old books, wet wood. Taste of tart cherry, real fruit, no off flavors here, well carbonated, delicious linger.

22 oz. bottle from the brewpub. 2012 vintage. Bottle 190/197. Pours a cloudy, tinted gold color (pinkish peach?) with a small white head. Notes of tart cherries, lemon, lactic acid, sour candy, oak, funk, leather, and yogurt. The sourness lingers in this one. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a tart, funky mouthfeel. Excellent beer.

Sample from bottle thanks to womencantsail. Hazy pinkish amber pour, with an off white head. Lots of cherries, lemon citrus, yeast, doughy, acidic, oak, light vinegar, and a bit musty. Ok

Bottle from Nick. Thanks! Hazy peach colored pour with a white head. Peach, Smarties, and cherries on the nose. Lemon, vanilla, oak, and a hint of vinegar. The flavor is quite acidic. Cherry, peach, and Smarties. Some oak, a touch of vanilla, grass, and lemon. Quite tart, maybe a bit of vinegar.

651mL red wax thanks to womencantsail. Bottle #71 of 197. Pours a full haze white peach with weaker foam. Okay for this style. Nose is phenolic, peach, white wine. Taste is mild acetic but huge citric lime. Salty, buoyant mouthfeel with leather and margarita mix (salt/lime combo). Nice stuff. Have enjoyed the staff only bottles from Jackie O’s.

Bottle shared by Sarro and crew who very graciously hosted us during the Hill Farmstead 3rd anniversary snowstorm. Glowing golden pour, very pretty. Light cherry aroma, quite acetic though. Taste is very sour, acetic, not very fruity at all, lots of oak, too much actually, only oaky tannins and acetic acid flavors. Still drinkable, but far from Evelyn.
