3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Jackie O's.
Cloud yellow pour with a fine, off-white head. Nice lacing.
Citrus hop aroma (grapefruit), caramel malt.
Lots of hop bitter, grapefruit, and caramel malt. Definitely hop forward.
A good IPA. Lots of hops, not so much malt, though not a hop bomb. A bit in the West Coast style.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a short tan head. Aromas of grapefruit, pine and good caramel malts. Flavor is grapefruit and pine as well as some good toffee and caramel backing it up. Finish is quite bitter and somewhat dry. Not bad.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Strong beer, almost IIPA like and with an ABV of 7.1 its almost in that gray area. On tap @ The Oak Room Smells of citrus and traditional IPA, first taste is nice and bitter then fades and is overpowered by a toffee and caramel taste. Finish is slightly bitter.. a good brew needs more balance in the middle to me.
