Jul 26, 2007 Tap, Ohio brew week. Pours brown with a small beige colored head. Aroma is nice pine, grapefruit, caramel. Flavor is the same. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finsihes bitter. Decent.

Jul 22, 2007 On tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a short tan head. Aromas of grapefruit, pine and good caramel malts. Flavor is grapefruit and pine as well as some good toffee and caramel backing it up. Finish is quite bitter and somewhat dry. Not bad.

Feb 27, 2007 Strong beer, almost IIPA like and with an ABV of 7.1 its almost in that gray area. On tap @ The Oak Room Smells of citrus and traditional IPA, first taste is nice and bitter then fades and is overpowered by a toffee and caramel taste. Finish is slightly bitter.. a good brew needs more balance in the middle to me.
