A citrus explosion. Small white head, beer has an orangeish hue. Aroma is strong citrus, orange/grapefruit with no plastic undercurrents, nice. Taste is high citrus hops, grapefruit, yet still balanced, with good viscosity. Finish lingers but not as long nor as pronounced as I would of thought from the hop content. Very nice beer.

Taster at taft’s - nose is cat urine. Boozy. Pronounced grass along with resin. Citrus citrus citrus aftertaste.

on tap @ Vino Bellissimo / Lima OH --- Clear medium amber color, beige rim head, thin strips of lace. Taste is sweet malt that has woody, nutty overtones, moving through the palate to a finish that lacks the hops for a DIPA. It comes close, but is uneven and unsatisfying, and needs a big stretch to feel like 8.5% abv.

Get out of the way when drinking this beer. She’s a beaut. Tasty amazingness from that wonderful citra hop. Decadent double. Enjoy!

Pour from growler shared by Brandon I think at The Oak. Cloudy gold pour with a small head that fades to a ring and leaves great lacing. Nice funky, dank aroma of big citrus hops, some tropical fruit, and light floral and grass hops. Tastes like juicy grapefruit and pineapple, oily resin, dank grass, and some sticky malt. Pretty smooth as well. Moderate bitterness, light sweetness. Great citra DIPA.

Sample @ RBWG Grand Tasting. Gold pour with a small head. Nose is super bright and floral. Citrus, dank tropical marsh and green shoots. Tasste is pretty tart. Earthy bitter bite. Garden roots. Medium body, deft. Nice.

On tap, Huge Citra aroma, as expected, very smooth citrus taste with some malts. Very nice amber appearance, and a great mouth feel, holds on nicely! Fantastic!

I’m not a huge fan of straight Citra IPAS but this is a pretty good one. Typical Citra dominant nose, light malt presence lasting bitterness. Beautiful looking beer.

Un liquide orangé qui respire l’orange confite, la résine et les sucres. En bouche c’est effectivement très collant et peu amer. Savoureux mais pas de momentum sur la buvabilité.

Growler shared by Joe at the RBWG 2014 grand tasting, thanks! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bitter tangerine note with grape fruit and a hint of resin underlying. Flavor has bitter tangerine with a bit of onion and some resin in the finish.
