Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a big citrus and somewhat tropical fruit hop profile, caramel malt, earthy notes and a touch of spice. The flavor has the same citrus and tropical fruit notes with earthy character, mild spices, caramel malt and a dry grassy note. A touch of alcohol comes through, but this is pretty solid.

Growler thanks to josh... Pours with a small hiss and yields a coppery transparent coppery brown hue and topped with a very thin wispy white head... Aroma was initially semi-dank and socky but then recedes and evolves as a more galaxy hopped focus. Way cleaner than what was originally tasted. A bit of caramel malt to coincide with the aforementioned but a bit sweet overall... Flavors are bit more malt focused with caramel and crystal with more of a hoppiness coming into play. Somewhat of a bitter finish but not overwhelmingly so. Nice but pales to Pipeworks a fair bit overall. Hoppy but fairly sweet which doesn’t allow the hop to shine as much as I would have expected to. Big, somewhat boozy, but still goodl

Growler, pours hazed amber with white head. Nose onions, grapefruit, flavors bright citrus, oranges, very bitter pretty overwhelming really, boozy too. Just too much but opened up better.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Strings of lacing o the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and sweet malt. Medium-bodied with a moderately bitter citrusy hops character and notes of bready malt and spice. The finish is fruity with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Another solid single hop showcase beer.

Draft sample. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy citrus hop and tropical fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. I drank this with a freind - both are First Class.

Growler to snifter (thanks Jay). Looks good; a fairly transparent copperish-orange with white lacing. Smells good too; pungent Galaxy hops. Tastes like it smells with a nice West Coast mouthfeel. Good stuff!

Just a tick or two less than the Citra version, still a wonderful showcase of galaxy hops.. just a bit different and having them back to back i much preferred the citra version.

Sample on tap at Jackie-O’s 7th. Amber color. Less head and lace than the citra version. Wow. The Galaxy is such an interesting hop. So much complexity. Spicy notes, grapefruit, more tropical flavors, pineapple. Grassy and assertive. Otherwise, similar to the Citra version. Super dry texture, bigger body, light crisp carbonation, long bitter aftertaste. Wow. Ended up getting a growler of this to take to Cincinnati, was just as great the next day as I remembered.

Small pour at the Jackie O’s 7th Anniversary Extravaganza. Clear amber pour with a thick white head. Aroma of malt, orange and pine. Malty flavor with orange peel and pepper before an orange finish.

Poured on draft. Pours a lighter copper color with a white head of foam. The aroma has tropical fruits, light grass, caramel, bread, floral citrus notes. Taste has some bitterness and sweetness. Fruity and dry finish.
