Growler from Ohio Taproom. Pours clear orange color with a solid white head. Aroma is citrusy and dank with some sweetness in the aroma. Flavor is fairly bitter with some tropical notes coming through but not as much as some other all citra beers. Solid IIPA.

Growler shared by Dallas. Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. A big nose of citrus, orange marmalade, some grass. Rich sweet tropical fruit, orange of course, some light bitterness and earthiness. Smooth and very easygoing.

Poured from a growler. A great iipa. Huge nose of Citra hops, citrus, mango, resin, the grainy sweetness was able to come through, slight hay character.

growler fill. thanks to bc on one occasion and josh for the other. consumed on christmas eve 2012. cheers... pours medium transparent, albeit more hazy lighter than copper penny hue, and topped with a creamy thin to medium white head that reduces down to a thin layered film... aroma of semi-juicy citrus and tropical fruit hop upfront, semi-sweet in nature with some caramely malt providing a backdrop.clean with a bit of earthiness coinciding with the aforementioned... sweeter resiny sweet tropical fruit and citrus components upfront, a touch of aspirin giving an added texture and finishing off on a midly bitter pithy note. a little sweet throughout with enough of a semi-darker malt presence and a honeydew like melony finish before turning bitter once again. just a bit more than medium bodied with adequate carbonation for the style. tasty but not as enamored by citra as i once used to be it seems. rivals citra ninja for sure. this growler won’t last very long in fact.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a mostly clear golden-amber color with a medium off-white head that evaporates steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of hops, grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is hoppy with an oily citrus aftertaste. Solid Citra showcase beer all around.

Draft. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy lemon citrus hop aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Standout brew.

Tap @ 7th Anny, Wow. Citra rocks and so does this beer, a little light in the color but everything else is rockstar quality. the brightness is just everything I want in IIPA no resinous bitterness all bright.

Sample on tap at Jackie-O’s 7th. Mostly clear amber color. Thin white head, leaving great lace. Promising citrus hop nose. Very nice citrus hop aroma - orange, grapefruit, bit of pine, grassy and dank. Very nice bitter taste, big without biting. Big body. Yeah, this is a great IPA. Want to revisit. Tried the Galaxy version immediately after, and liked it even better.

Small pour at the Jackie O’s 7th Anniversary Extravaganza. Clear amber pour with a medium off-white head. Malty nose containing orange, pine and grapefruit. Malty flavor with grapefruity and oniony hops throughout.
