On Draught at Matt the Miller’s tavern in Grandview. This brew is an interesting lemon yellow very hazy brew. Nose is very sharp with hops that are reminiscent of fresh cut grass and crisp citrus goodness. Body is a bit lively but goes down very easily. Finish is good crisp bitters that linger. A very refreshing APA. Nice spring-summer brew.

4 oz draft pour at Jackie O’s Public House. Clear yellow with off-white head. Aromas of big pine, lemon lime, citrus. Tastes of pine, floral, citrus fruit and peel, lemon lime. Medium body with a dry finish. Juicy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Nice.

Draft pour at the source. Light, translucent orange to copper with a white head of foam that dissipates quickly. The aroma is juicy citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is sweet, but dries out in the finish. Light and crushable. Medium carbonation.

A very nice low key pale ale drinks like the nice session beer it is. Living up to all expectations provided by the name this would make a great starter or option for a hot summer day. Hopefully more Jackie O’s makes its way throughout the region soon.

Aroma / Appearance - A golden hue the color of lemonade infused with honey glows like the sun at high noon. A stiff white head brightens the entire area. Orange cream, low key hops, and lemon zest all contribute to a laid back presence.

Flavor / Palate - Citrus and lemon rise from the tongue with a very refreshing texture. The sweet transition floats deftly across the tongue. A full bodied and robust session beer proves that you do not have to go big to make a great product. Instead it focuses on being a light refresher that doesn’t batter the palate.

Pint at the taproom on 4/22/14. Clear gold pour with a huge white head. Aroma of malt, pine, orange and grapefruit rind. Malty flavor with a bit of onion and pine before a bitter grapefruit finish. Nice, and one of the better session hoppy beers I’ve had.

Hazy yellow beer with a lasting sticky white head. Big tropical fruit and citrus nose. Lots of hop taste with pinching grapefruit, sharp pine, some tropical fruit and enough malt for it not to just be hop juice. Nice hop head beer at that abv.

Draft. Poured hazy light amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Draft at The Eagle. Pours a pale, cloudy yellow-gold with a small bone white head that leaves some trailing lace. Aroma of fresh floral and lemon citrusy and grassy hops, straw, pale malts - a little bit sweaty late. Flavor of lemon citrus, fresh cut grass, straw, pale malts, sweet dough, and a hint of pineapple. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a very clean mouthfeel. Lovely session APA. Would make for a very nice canned offering (hint, hint).

On draught at Pint Room. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium foamy white head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grapefruit and hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
