Draft at Jackie O’s. Pours brown in color with a thin film. The aroma is very light caramel malts, light pumpkin with the regular spices, brown sugar and light nutty notes. The flavor caramel malt, lightly toasted, moderate pumpkin bread spices, mild pumpkin, lightly nutty with some earthy bitterness to the finsh

Tap sample. Poured clear dark brown color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Solid malt and pumpkin pie spice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy pumpkin sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid seasonal beer.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours brown with a medium beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of pumpkin spices and malt. Medium body with flavors of sweet spices, toasted malt and a bit of dark fruit. The finish is sweet with nutty malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample on tap at Jackie-O’s 7th. Dark brown color. Thin tan head on the surface. Baked pumpkin, cinnamon aroma. Good medium / bigger body. Dry texture. Good smooth lighter carbonation. Light bitter, spicy taste. Only a hint of alcohol in the finish. Nice imperial brown ale, though I might have preferred a bit less spice.

Small pour of the nitro version at the Jackie O’s 7th Anniversary Extravaganza. Pours a clear brown with a huge tan nitro head. Nose consisting of malt, blueberries and spice. Malty and spicy flavor with slight fruit and a good amount of herbal character before a grassy finish.

Poured on draft at Jackie-O’s. Pours a dark brown with a brownish head. The aroma is spicy, malty, pumpkiny. Taste is chocolatey sweet with some pumpkin pie spice and dark malts. Alcohol is covered well.
