COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is that big sticky hop elixir that I have always wanted to brew. Columbus and Warrior hops lend an assertive bitterness. Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial hops give this beer tons of great flavors of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine needles. A big dry hop addition of Amarillo and Simcoe give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor. Soon to be a year round addition.

A west coast styled IPA that uses 5 different hops (Centennial, Amarillo, Warrior, Simcoe, Columbus) giving it tons of flavor, aroma, and an assertive bitterness. 7% abv with the ability to get you hop trigger firing!

12 ounce can. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A sweet fruity nose. The flavor is earthy, sweet oranges, mild bitterness, resin. Herbal tea. Quite good.

Would take Marilyn Monroe to upstage this in a whispery voice singing sultry songs to a brew master. It can and should happen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz can poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Hazy golden orange with 2.5 fingers of off-white head. Light lacing. Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, caramel. Tastes of tropical fruit, citrus, floral hops, light pine, a little bit of caramel. Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Juicy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Delicious.

ive had this on tap before and it kicked ass then, now that its in a can i can take home, its made my life much happier. this is like a dank bag of ganga in a liquid form, barely contained by the can. i wish jackie o’s distributed in ky, it could compete with west 6th

Can: The aroma consists of citrus/tangerine, tropical fruits, grapefruit, and a touch of pine. It pours a hazy (bordering on cloudy) dark golden-orange with a two finger creamy orange tinted off-white head that has very good retention. There is a lot of soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of tangerine/citrus and faint tropical fruits. There is some light caramel in the middle. The finish has moderate grapefruit, faint pine, and the slightest hint of lemon peel. It’s medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, a really nice canned IPA.

Finally a beer made on my side of the country that actually does a good west coast style IPA. There’s many that claim they do, but they usually are caramelly and malt forward. Not this guy! Aroma was perfect. As soon as I opened the can I got hit with huge grapefruit, grass and straw smell. Even before I poured it. Pour was a nice hazy medium gold with a one finger white head. Taste was strongly bitter and hoppy. No crappy malt to balance out the flavor. Grapefruit rind and freshly cut grass were strong. The nice carbonation washed it away before a strong sticky and resinous bitterness were left for the finish. Hope this beer is distributed to PA at some point. Awesome IPA

Ale Alpharetta. Now we had this directly after Duet, but the scent especially fell a bit short. Aroma was some floral and pine with subtle sweet presence. Taste stepped up a bit from a very subtle nose. Lots of floral hops with some citrus. Moderately sweet malt backing. Ok I guess.
