COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is that big sticky hop elixir that I have always wanted to brew. Columbus and Warrior hops lend an assertive bitterness. Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial hops give this beer tons of great flavors of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine needles. A big dry hop addition of Amarillo and Simcoe give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor. Soon to be a year round addition.

A west coast styled IPA that uses 5 different hops (Centennial, Amarillo, Warrior, Simcoe, Columbus) giving it tons of flavor, aroma, and an assertive bitterness. 7% abv with the ability to get you hop trigger firing!

Medium sized white head with good retention and a lasting lace. Clear, gold color, nice lookin beer. Piney, resiny nose, faint malts. Medium bodied, lil oily, tad juicy, nice. Oily hop flavors, pine, resiny, fruity, yummy. Fairly dry finish, melons, oranges with a tame bite. Nice enough. Thanks to my friend Gabe for sharing this with me.

3/22/15. 12oz can thanks to tubafatness. Orange pour with a small khaki head, mild lacing. Nice aroma, pine, citrus, grapefruit, maltiness. Good flavor, plenty of pine and citrus, a bit much maltiness for me. Tasty enough.

Can (12 oz) @ Hotel Room Tasting. From Russ, thanks!

Appearance: Hazy bright yellow/golden with a small white head and good lacing.

Aroma: Interesting hoppy and herbal features. Tropical fruits, citrus, floral notes and light spiciness.

Taste: Dominated by tropical fruits and citrus with a delicate but crisp and effective malt backbone, herbal presence, floral notes and light bitterness.

Palate: Light to medium body. Moderate to medium carbonation. A bit fluffy mouthfeel. Moderately dry finish. Citrusy. Mild lingering bitterness.

Overall: So far Jackie-O’s has been hit or miss for me (and more often a miss), but this is a very tasty and fruity IPA. Well balanced. Drinkable and quenching. Good stuff!

Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of fruity hops. Taste is fruity as well but this time there is a light candy flavor to it. Not too sweet though and backed by a medium-high bitterness. Body is medium, carbonation low to moderate and bitterness lingers for quite a while. Overall a really good IPA, I didn’t expect as much!

Pours gold with white head and some lacing. Bold aroma of grapefruit, citrus hops, and moderate pine. Taste is the same. Moderate to light body for the style. The biggest difference between this IPA and others top IPAs is that it is more clean and crisp in the finish.

Can from Jason....gracias! Nice frothy head, light yellow/orange color. Nose of fruits and pine needles. Taste is a clean IPA. Hop forward for sure, but light crystal malt body. Hops of pine, light fruit, citrus, little grassy..Not really sticky at all, kind of on the dry side. which I enjoy. Body is on the light side and really easy to drink. Overall: Not sure of the price tag because a buddy got it for me but I could see this being an everyday beer.

Pours a golden color with a nice white head....the head dissipated quickly, but left a nice layer which gave some nice lacing throughout. Nice piney nose on this one with some buttery notes. Good piney taste at the front which then fades to some grassy aftertaste....medium carbonation. Good overall brew.
