This is that big sticky hop elixir that I have always wanted to brew. Columbus and Warrior hops lend an assertive bitterness. Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial hops give this beer tons of great flavors of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine needles. A big dry hop addition of Amarillo and Simcoe give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor. Soon to be a year round addition.

A west coast styled IPA that uses 5 different hops (Centennial, Amarillo, Warrior, Simcoe, Columbus) giving it tons of flavor, aroma, and an assertive bitterness. 7% abv with the ability to get you hop trigger firing!

Can shared poured a slightly hazy yellow color with white head. Mild malt flavor with plenty of citrus and pine hop action. The flavor brings more of the same plus more. Very nice flavor with a medium body. Overall all love the pine more than I do the citrus but its a nice blend.

Pours a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma of pine and citrus with light malts. Flavor of citrus hops with some light pine hops, nice balancing from the malts and bitterness through the finish.

It poured a clear golden color with an off-white head. The taste was of hops, resin, musk, citrus and some pine. The taste was similar to the aroma with musk, resin, citrus and more hops. Nice.

Medium sized white head with good retention and a lasting lace. Clear, gold color, nice lookin beer. Piney, resiny nose, faint malts. Medium bodied, lil oily, tad juicy, nice. Oily hop flavors, pine, resiny, fruity, yummy. Fairly dry finish, melons, oranges with a tame bite. Nice enough. Thanks to my friend Gabe for sharing this with me.

Can (12 oz) @ Hotel Room Tasting. From Russ, thanks!

Appearance: Hazy bright yellow/golden with a small white head and good lacing.

Aroma: Interesting hoppy and herbal features. Tropical fruits, citrus, floral notes and light spiciness.

Taste: Dominated by tropical fruits and citrus with a delicate but crisp and effective malt backbone, herbal presence, floral notes and light bitterness.

Palate: Light to medium body. Moderate to medium carbonation. A bit fluffy mouthfeel. Moderately dry finish. Citrusy. Mild lingering bitterness.

Overall: So far Jackie-Os has been hit or miss for me (and more often a miss), but this is a very tasty and fruity IPA. Well balanced. Drinkable and quenching. Good stuff!

Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of fruity hops. Taste is fruity as well but this time there is a light candy flavor to it. Not too sweet though and backed by a medium-high bitterness. Body is medium, carbonation low to moderate and bitterness lingers for quite a while. Overall a really good IPA, I didnt expect as much!
