This is that big sticky hop elixir that I have always wanted to brew. Columbus and Warrior hops lend an assertive bitterness. Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial hops give this beer tons of great flavors of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine needles. A big dry hop addition of Amarillo and Simcoe give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor. Soon to be a year round addition.

A west coast styled IPA that uses 5 different hops (Centennial, Amarillo, Warrior, Simcoe, Columbus) giving it tons of flavor, aroma, and an assertive bitterness. 7% abv with the ability to get you hop trigger firing!

(Thanks Peter "phaleslu") Can. A- Citrus, funky. A- Orange color, super cloudy liquid, small white head. T- Bitter, subtle grapefruit and orange, piney. P- Full body, average texture, soft carbonation, astringent finish. O- This was a fair IPA. I was going for more of the grapefruit and tangerine flavors as noted, but didn’t seem to get much of them, other than at the front. It was mostly bitter and piney, especially in the finish, but then went back to a lingering orange peel flavor.

Can from Peter's free beer week. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy orange yellow color with a small white head on top. Aroma of strong grapefruits, pine, more sweet citrus. Flavor is mostly pine bitter up front with a sweet citrus rind on the back end that lingers for a good while. Light yet resinous with medium carbonation and a nicely crisp finish. Solid crushable IPA.

Pours a light amber color with a white head. Aroma is of some earthy tones with caramel malts and plenty of citrus hops. Flavor is the earthy tones and caramel malts up front. Plenty of citrus and floral hops on the finish with a bitter taste that lingers.

Sampled at Franks with Vinny, Barry, Ryan, Alan and Bill. Pours a light amber golden body with light lacing. Aroma is light citrus, lots of malt sweetness and some pine. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side with the overall flavor somewhat muted and dull. Ok - maybe not fresh enough.

Poured from a 12oz can. Aroma is grapefruit and caramel. Flavors are grapefruit, pine, and caramel. Nice and balanced, it’s nice because the malt isn’t overwhelming. Solid Ipa.
