COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is that big sticky hop elixir that I have always wanted to brew. Columbus and Warrior hops lend an assertive bitterness. Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial hops give this beer tons of great flavors of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine needles. A big dry hop addition of Amarillo and Simcoe give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor. Soon to be a year round addition.

A west coast styled IPA that uses 5 different hops (Centennial, Amarillo, Warrior, Simcoe, Columbus) giving it tons of flavor, aroma, and an assertive bitterness. 7% abv with the ability to get you hop trigger firing!

I had to maneuver myself through the white reggae concert crowd at brew week to score a growler of this. I enjoyed some of it back at the hotel while watching some excellent tbn ministry coverage. The 7.1 percent is hidden very well. I got alot of floral hops at least more so than citrus. Very well balanced. It had a session amount of bitterness to the taste, not too much but not too little. I did get more citrus in the flavor though. Overall a solid beer.

Can courtesy of phaleslu. Hazy with a full pour, light orange amber. Medium creamy white head, fairly lasting with nice lace. Delicate, inviting hop aroma. Fruity. Citrus. Orange. Floral. Biscuit. Sweet. Light pine. Light medium body, refreshing, rounded, and smooth. Flavor goes more towards the pine along with the grapefruit, orange, earth, pale malt . Firm but enjoyable bitterness and dryness through the finish. Good stuff.

Very hoppy, pine, citrus, aroma. Some sweetness in there as well. Taste is spot on, very hoppy, pine, citrus, a little sweet malt. A pleasantly bitter finish.

(Thanks Peter "phaleslu") Can. A- Citrus, funky. A- Orange color, super cloudy liquid, small white head. T- Bitter, subtle grapefruit and orange, piney. P- Full body, average texture, soft carbonation, astringent finish. O- This was a fair IPA. I was going for more of the grapefruit and tangerine flavors as noted, but didnít seem to get much of them, other than at the front. It was mostly bitter and piney, especially in the finish, but then went back to a lingering orange peel flavor.

Draft at the Trolley Stop in Dayton. Pours almost clear gold with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like hops, resin, musk, citrus, and pine. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like musky, resin, citrus, and hops.

Can from Peter's free beer week. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy orange yellow color with a small white head on top. Aroma of strong grapefruits, pine, more sweet citrus. Flavor is mostly pine bitter up front with a sweet citrus rind on the back end that lingers for a good while. Light yet resinous with medium carbonation and a nicely crisp finish. Solid crushable IPA.

Pours a light amber color with a white head. Aroma is of some earthy tones with caramel malts and plenty of citrus hops. Flavor is the earthy tones and caramel malts up front. Plenty of citrus and floral hops on the finish with a bitter taste that lingers.

Sampled at Franks with Vinny, Barry, Ryan, Alan and Bill. Pours a light amber golden body with light lacing. Aroma is light citrus, lots of malt sweetness and some pine. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side with the overall flavor somewhat muted and dull. Ok - maybe not fresh enough.
