This is that big sticky hop elixir that I have always wanted to brew. Columbus and Warrior hops lend an assertive bitterness. Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial hops give this beer tons of great flavors of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine needles. A big dry hop addition of Amarillo and Simcoe give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor. Soon to be a year round addition.

A west coast styled IPA that uses 5 different hops (Centennial, Amarillo, Warrior, Simcoe, Columbus) giving it tons of flavor, aroma, and an assertive bitterness. 7% abv with the ability to get you hop trigger firing!

I had to maneuver myself through the white reggae concert crowd at brew week to score a growler of this. I enjoyed some of it back at the hotel while watching some excellent tbn ministry coverage. The 7.1 percent is hidden very well. I got alot of floral hops at least more so than citrus. Very well balanced. It had a session amount of bitterness to the taste, not too much but not too little. I did get more citrus in the flavor though. Overall a solid beer.

Can from phaleslu. Butt chugged 1/2 in his honor. Pours a straw yellow with billowing white head. Smells like heaven. Hoppy, pungent, citrusy pine. Jesus juice? Lets taste it to find out. Not Jesus juice but good. Lacks some hop bite. Minimal malts though. Very solid. Would drink again

Poured into a perfect pint. 3.75 A: Lightly hazed light orange color. Two fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is good and nearly a finger of lacing is left. 3.5 S: Lot of hops in this. Piney, earthy, and grassy notes first. Grapefruit followed by some light orange citrusy notes. Toasty malts, on the drier side, with a few touches of caramel. 3.5 T: Taste follows the nose. Lots of hops, fairly dry, and pungent. Resiny hops with pine, earth, and grapefruit. Lightly citrusy. Toasty, caramel. 3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Very drinkable. 3.5 D: Solid IPA. ★ 595 characters DavoleBomb, Mar 29, 2014

Bottle from Ohio. Pours a hazy pale gold with thin white head. Aroma has a great juicy fruit punch aroma with lots of pineapple and grapefruit. Taste has tons of tropical and citrusy hops with good bitterness. Palate is light-med bodied with light carbonation. Good stuff

On tap at Black Bottle Brewery. Clear light orange appearance with a fluffy white head that dissipates quickly. Pretty nice hop nose, with notes of citrus zest, grass, floral notes, pine, light herbal notes and a touch of hop resin. Similar flavor, crisp, moderate hop bitterness with minimal to light malt sweetness. Medium body with average carbonation. Smooth and fresh, a nicely done IPA overall.

Can at the Hocking HIlls Dining Lodge. Clear yellow brew with nice dense head. Great pine, citrus, tropical fruit aroma. Taste is dry, hops forward, very fruity, citrus, pine - well, just a hops explosion. Really excellent brew,
