I had to maneuver myself through the white reggae concert crowd at brew week to score a growler of this. I enjoyed some of it back at the hotel while watching some excellent tbn ministry coverage. The 7.1 percent is hidden very well. I got alot of floral hops at least more so than citrus. Very well balanced. It had a session amount of bitterness to the taste, not too much but not too little. I did get more citrus in the flavor though. Overall a solid beer.

Tap at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is biscuit and honey malt, earthy, herbal, resin, and pine hops with citrus notes and pineapple. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, light malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Can@Home. Pretty standard American IPA. Bit too grassy with accompanying harsh bitterness for me to be very pleasant. Overall well brewed though.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, no canning date. Pours moderately hazy orange amber color with a 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange zest/rind, floral, grass, pine, caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes with moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, orange zest/rind, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Good amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, mango, floral, grass, pine, caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity of hop flavors; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity and balance of crisp hop flavors and moderate malt presence; and very smooth to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Has that great bitter, grapefruit bitterness that made me a hop head in the first place.

On tap at Dublin Village Tavern in Columbus. Aroma is citrus and grass hops. Tastes are more of the same with a zippy resin vibe bitter finish. Very nice.

Can at home. Pour is clear orange with a big white head and good lacing. Big weed, ganja, grassy, grapefruity, caramelly, and bready - but really just a huge resinous/weed bomb. Taste is grapefruit, candied oranges, bread, caramel, weed, light grass, and dough with a big bitter finish. Sticky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Decent stuff, but may be a bit past its prime.

Dark orange color with slim white head and nice lacing. Aroma is crazy huge! Tons of citrus, pine, and tangerine. Flavor is very bitter, but balanced with sweet citrusy hops. Some bitter bombs are all bite and no flavor, but this tastes delicious.

Can from the brewery, compliments of my father in law. Aroma is wonderful with grapefruit, cantaloupe, and passionfruit. Pours amber with a medium peach head. Taste is great with papaya, citrus peel, and grapefruit. Fresh and fruity. Love this one. Great job Jackie’O!
