This is that big sticky hop elixir that I have always wanted to brew. Columbus and Warrior hops lend an assertive bitterness. Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial hops give this beer tons of great flavors of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine needles. A big dry hop addition of Amarillo and Simcoe give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor. Soon to be a year round addition.

A west coast styled IPA that uses 5 different hops (Centennial, Amarillo, Warrior, Simcoe, Columbus) giving it tons of flavor, aroma, and an assertive bitterness. 7% abv with the ability to get you hop trigger firing!

I had to maneuver myself through the white reggae concert crowd at brew week to score a growler of this. I enjoyed some of it back at the hotel while watching some excellent tbn ministry coverage. The 7.1 percent is hidden very well. I got alot of floral hops at least more so than citrus. Very well balanced. It had a session amount of bitterness to the taste, not too much but not too little. I did get more citrus in the flavor though. Overall a solid beer.

Pours a clear gold with white head. A strong floral hop, citrus and pine aroma. A strong citrus and floral hop taste with pine, caramel, and malts. A malty aftertaste with fruits but some bitter hops.

Clear gold pour with a white head. Nuce lacing. Aroma is dank, pine, citrus rind, and tropical fruit. Taste is citrus zest, tropical, dank, and pine. Lingering piney grapefruity aftertaste. Clean bitterness. Dry finish. Light body.

Can from Bayshore Beverage Sandusky. Mostly clear deep yellow with a good sized bubbly white head that persists. Tangerine apricot pine and grapefruit rule the nose with a sweet bready malt deep underneath. The flavor is more pine and grapefruit than anything else. Bitter resinous drips off your tongue long after each sip. Bold tasty bitter IPA.

Hazy, golden appearance with a large white head and good lacing. Initial aroma of pineapple evolved into a broader spectrum of citrusy syllables. Hop dominated flavors focused on a piney theme although there are hints of spice in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel leading to an average length finish. Thanks, Bert!

On tap @ Ei8ht Ball / Bellevue KY --- Aroma of rich musty malt. Clear light amber, white head that drops to a cover, sheets of lace. Taste is rich musty malt (just like the aroma). Pine hops arrive at the same time as edgy carbonation. Hops easily conquer the long finish. Big and bold, but still only good, not great.

12oz can from The Grateful Ed. Poured a medium density bright copper body with an average sized white fluffy head. Aroma/flavor of tropical fruit, dank weed, rotting old orange marmalade topped bread. Medium to slightly fuller body, softer to average carbonation and a dry finish. Solid beer.

APPEARANCE- very light golden yellow with significant head creation. NOSE- light tropical fruit scents waft from the glass. Very enjoyable. FLAVOR- supports the scent nicely. Lighter IPA, on the bright fruity flavor end of the spectrum. NOTES- great IPA for hot summer days.

12oz can pours a murky orange with some lacing white head. Nose has orange and lemon peels, soap, grass, biscuit and grist. Flavor has citrus pith, some muddled citrus juice too, grist, soap, spruce. Dry finish. Nice flagship.

Darker orange pour from a can at OMalleys in the Alley in Cincinnati. Dank fruit flavor on this. Oak and bubblegum. Bitter. Fruits. Not bad but not my favorite of theirs
