I did not like this beer, and I’m unsure why so many others have. It has an oily texture which is very off-putting and a heavy taste that is too heavy for my interests.

"Had a one year old bottle for my first Jackie O’s beer, and damn, was it impressive. HUGE body, almost chewy...just the way I like em. Flavor and aroma aggressively hopped (still) with a ton of roasted malt and walnuts, and a background of coffee and chocolate. Smooth finish. I like the fairly unique twist on a classic impy w/the nuttiness. I’d LOVE to try the barreled version of this and might just start being more aggressive in my searching out of Jackie O’s."

Taster at beerfest - nose is dark chocolate. Sip adds complex goodness. Quite flavorful. Not helpful I know but I like it.
