3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 allfreej (510) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 13, 2013
On tap at Jackie O's.
Pinkish copper pour with a light white head.
Raspberry nose. Not much else going on.
Medium mouthfeel decent carbonation.
Wheaty with a raspberry taste that is nicely done.
Not my favorite, but well balanced. I think they do a better job with their hoppy beers, at least from what I was able to sample this trip.

Draft to pint at Dutch’s. Looks solid; an amberish-orange with white lacing. Smells and tastes fruity and wheaty. Average on the palate. Not bad.

On draft at Jackie O’s.
Reddish pink in color and it has a big aroma dominated by.. raspberry... obviously. Flavor is a citrus/raspberry mix that starts off sweet and ends in a tart crisp finish. A very good fruit beer. I can see why so many people in the pub were drinking this.

Poured on draft at Jackie-O’s. Pours a bubbly, translucent pink color with a lightly pink head of foam. The aroma isn’t a strong raspberry, but its apparent that the beer has a lot of them involved. Taste is sweet and fruity, as expected. Not too shabby.

Public house draft at a bottle release. Pretty nice fruit beer with a nice dose of hops too. I liked that you could tell the berries were real and not just some chemical syrup. Felt like you could taste some pulp to the berries.

Sampler flight on tap at the brewpub (Athens, OH). Pours a well hazed orange amber hue, touch of pink with frothy offwhite head. Thicker ring laces ok. Aromas are gentle berry, citrus, and flaked wheat. Touches of straw, bready malts, dough, gentle kiss of sweet pulpy berry. Initial is lighter bodied offering touches of red barry, raspberries, and bready malts. Touches of grass, gentle sweetness. Middle gives a touch of citrus, lingering berry and bready malts, touches of dry earthy hops are slight. Simple yet solid fruit beer, mellow.

On tap at brewhouse. Cloudy pink in color white a big foamy white head. Strong aroma of raspberries with some hints of grain. Refreshing and crisp on the palate with a sweet/tart raspberry upfront taste and some wheat on the back end. Overall a descent summer beer that was quite enjoyable, but in small doses.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 alexsdad06 (3040) - Ohio, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Draft. Pours a reddish amber color with a medium slight pink head. The aroma is mildly sweet raspberries, tart notes, wheat, grass with a light toasted quality. The flavor is similar with the opening having more grassy with wheat notes and the raspberries starting later and remaining through the finish. Decent for what it is.
