84 pounds of fresh Oregon raspberries give this ale a unique and playful personality. The Rosy haze and sticky head embody a continuum of sour sweetness held together by a subtle wheat wheat blackbone.

draft... pours a dark pink, a little murky, not much of head... the nose is all raspberries, fresh and sweet... the taste is a bit chemically but solid for a wheat

This poured a cloudy cloudy light amber color with a pinkish hued head. Aroma was of a nice amount tart raspberries, and wheaty yeast character. Flavor was a nice blend of tart raspberry, not artificial at all, and wheat spice and yeast. Decent.

Reddish brown appearance, like what Id expect a ruby red grapefruit juice to look like. Bonus, the head was actually pink-colored! Ive never encountered that before. Aroma does not disappoint, with a full raspberry taste in the nose upfront and a medium gently fading finish. Taste is slightly sweet and sour, much like a grapefruit juice that kind of seems appropriate for the beer. Crisp palate and texture, a little thin feeling, maybe too sharply carbonated but satisfying. However interesting this beer may be, though, I couldnt imagine drinking more than one. For me, its a novelty... It goes down easy, but its not heavily drinkable due to the strong fruit flavor.

Old backlog from august 2010. Gold pour with pinkish hues. Aroma is raspberry... surprised right? Light wheat and fruit. . Decent take on a girly beer. Cant wait for the dynamo

Sample glass on tap at Jackie-Os. Pours cloudy pinkish in color with a soft off white head. Smells of candied rassberries and slightly wheaty. Tastes as it smells, with a prominant sweet and tart rassberry flavor, followed by a gentle wheat malt flavor.

On tap at OHouleys (now Jackie Os). Pours a reddish/pinkish light brown. Taste is wheat and raspberries. Taste is enjoyable and even many of the ladies will enjoy this one.

(Draught) Pours a murky reddish tan body with a small white head. Aroma of raspberry, wheat, grass, and earth. Flavor of sour raspberry, earth, wheat. Fairly pedestrian wheat fruit beer.

Sample at GABF 2009. Pours a hazy yellow color with thin head. Aroma is wheat, grass, ripe fresh fruit, raspberries, fruit puree. Flavor is about the same with stronger raspberry notes on the palate. Light to medium body with a fruity finish.

Sample at the brewpub. Cloudy reddish-amber pour with no head. Wheat malt aroma with lots of raspberry and a bit of tartness. Tons of raspberry flavor to go along with maltiness and yeastiness of this one.

7/14/2009: Jackie-Os Raspberry Wheat has soft, juicy red raspberry paired with toasted wheat. It is cloudy, opaque, and dirty brown with a medium-light body. This beer just tastes fresh and is thirst-quenching. I would have a pint if I could stay longer...

Sample (draught) at Jackie Os Pub & Brewery in Athens, Ohio during Ohio Brew Week 2009. Rating #4 for this beer.
