This poured a clear amber color with an off white head. Aroma was spices, somewhat herbal maybe from the hops or the rye, and light toasted malt. Flavor was mainly lighter citrusy hops, some toaste and herbal, bar, rye character in the finish. OK

Jackie o’s rye ipa. Growler thanks to brad... Pours a semi-transparent orange brown hue with a thin to slightly medium consistency frothy white head... Herbal bready nose upfront with a mild citrus backing. Not too assertive from the hops actually... Flavors are somewhat similar with more of a bitter tone throughout. A little buttery with a backend of bready spiciness. Light to medium bodied with a dryness in the finish. 6/4/7/3/14

On draft at the brewpub
Refreshing pale ale with floral/citrus hop character and a bit of sweetness that leads to a moderately bitter finish. The rye adds to the overall complexity and also lends to a fairly dry finish. Good stuff.
