Pours a dark golden color with a smaller white head. The aroma had quite a but if floral notes and perfumy lavender, lemon citrus and mildly sweet pale malts. The flavor opened with heavy herbal lavender and some Lenin citrus before the lightly toasted, breast malts came through. The lavender remained to the finish.

Hazy yellow pour. Aroma of soapy lavender. Flavor follows suite. Not for me

Sample at One Funky Afternoon at Jackie Os on 04/02/2011: The beer is a hazy yellow-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Pungent lavender aroma with other sweet spices. Light to medium body with flavors of sweet lavender and a bit of citrus. The finish is sweetly spiced with a lingering potpourri aftertaste. This one didnt really work for me overall.

This poured a cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aroma was very stroong lavender and not much else, just like perfume or potpouri. Flavor was even worse than the aroma, just like chugging a can of glade lavender air freshsner. uggh.

Sampled during One Funky Afternoon on 4/2/11. Clear gold pour with a medium white head. Aroma of sage, lavender, malt and a bit of lemon. Malty flavor with sage, lavender, lemon and some hop. I dont think there was sage in it, so maybe I was just smelling and tasting the lavender blending with something else to make it more herbal vs. perfumey (aka old lady apartment).
