In 2010, Black Betty (imperial raspberry vanilla porter) was racked into a bourbon barrel with Brett B. The beer rested for a full year, with raspberries added toward the end.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2010 Sample at Jackie O’s as part of Ohio Brew Week. This brew is a murky ruddy brown color with a thin light beige head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of oak and berries plus atouch of vanilla. Rich and velvety mouthfeel with flavors of dark malt, bourbon, vanilla and raspberry. Some light yeast notes as well. The finish is oaky and boozy with a dark berry aftertaste. Good beer all around.
