On tap into a sampler glass. Aroma is low key brett with a malty character in the forefront. Taste is very woody, not necessarily in a bad way. Sourness is more of a supporting role in this beer making it fairly drinkable.

Dark, rusty brown pour. Lots of oak in the aroma with a soft maraschino cherry like note. The flavor is not too sour with a soft lactic finish. Notes of cherry, molasses, caramel, raspberry, blackberry and a very soft cider vinegar. Medium full body, slightly aqueous mouth feel and soft carbonation. Leaves the mouth dry at the end.

hopscotch (10644) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 8, 2010
Bottle RBWG 10 Murky, caramel-colored ale with lots of floaties and a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is a tangy, lavish swirl of caramel, funk, assorted nuts and nameless fruits. Light-bodied and astringent with tingly carbonation. Tangy, acidic flavor is well-balanced by good, tannic bitterness. Touches of caramel and another unknown fruit. Finishes tangy and dry. Thanks to darkguardian for sharing a growler of this interesting beer!
