COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our ode to summer. By implementing a sour mash procedure in our kettle, an intense lactic and sour character emerges. The beer is then fermented with our lager yeast. Finishes fruity, citrusy, dry and quite tart.

Beer has amazing clarity, so much so that it reminds me of a cider in appearance. Not head, just faint bubbles. Not much to behold. Lactic sourness is there, with notes of apples, peaches, and apricots. Overall, it falls flat. Not overly fond of this offering from Jack’s Abby like I typically am.

Bottle. Pours like cloudy ginger ale. Lightly tart and lactic with prominent biscuity malt. Slightly musty. Thin mouthfeel. Ok.

Bottle. Clear yellow. Grassy, grated cheese, light and crisp. Decent but, not a style I enjoy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at the barrel cellar with friends, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks man! Pour is clear yellow with no head. Big wheaty, lemony, some lactic sourness, grassy and yogurt in the aroma. Taste is sour lemon water - pretty thin - some lactic notes, citrus, biscuit and heavy bread characteristics with a medium tart finish. Thin body with low carbonation. No flaws but nothing too special.

50cl bottle pours a hazy yellow with a ring of white head. Nose has lemon, yogurt, lightly herbal. Flavor is super lemony, some unripened apricot, light hay. Oily finish. Tart too.

Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy blonde color berliner weisse with a nice white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes is a bit one-dimensional. Taste is also dominated by simple tart notes with light wheat malt also noticeable. Body is light with good carbonation. Easy drinking Berliner with limited amount of complexity.

500ml bottle from local store. Pours a very cloudy white grapefruit juice color with almost no head. Aromas of lactobacillus by products and wheat. Taste is lightly tart and semi dry. Flavors of lactic acid treated wheat. Little to no funk. Meh. It’s ok. Not exactly the greatest brew in the world.

Draft at three Penny with Linh. Pours a hazy orange body with white head that fades fast; after a minute there’s absolutely no head or lacing. Aroma is sour wheat and fresh grassy funk. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with notes of sour dough, fresh cut grass, funky wheat, citrus fruit and light sour character. Lemon seltzer soda and grain in the finish.
