Cool beer and I dig it. Pours a reddish brown with quickly fading light head. Aroma is cherry skins, vineagar, almonds, and caramel. Lightly tart and session able if a bit thin.

Poured from bottle in a tulip: Pours brown with a touch of red.and a thin offwhite head. Aroma is cherries (go figure), funk, and grainy wheat. Taste is cherries and champagne up front, followed by the nice tart of the base berliner. Medium body, light carbonation, really tasty.

Pours a deep rusty umber color with a trace of foam that settles out quickly. Nose is a bit of cherry cough suppressant, musty wood, vanilla. round burnt sugar. Palate follows with some watered down cherry cola flavors, vanilla, musty barrel, subtle tartness. Average brew that doesn’t really excite me enough to finish the bottle.

Bottle, pours a dark brown almost black, aroma was a funky, some oak, taste was really complex and it was very nice, the cherry just brings a nice light finish, really nice stuff.

Didn’t wuite get as much cherry and barrel sweetness as I would expect, it was very acidic with nice bite, the cherry was faint not much barrel sweetness though

Pour is dark ruby red with a tan head. Nose is wood, lactic acid, light sulfur, a bit of plastic and some cherry. Taste is much cleaner, lactic acid and a much nicer wood note. Cherry is much stronger and none of the slight plastic note. Faintly tart, gently carbonated finish on a medium body and a touch syrupy.
