4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2013 Pours a pale golden with an off white head that recedes quickly. Very nice aroma of lemon peel and, to a lesser extent, pine. Starts easy with pale malt building to a citrusy hop finish and a bitter that follows the swallow, making you want another sip.
This has gotten smoother with about 3 months in the bottle. The bitterness at the end is still there, but not as sharp, citrus more forward. Upped my original 3.8 to a solid 4.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle [500ml] c/o Glouglouburp. India Pale Lager eh? Interesting. Pours a hazy, bubbly golden-orange with a large lasting frothy off-white head. Some lacing on the glass. Really nice aroma is fruity and hoppy, with lots of citrus hops and tropical fruit along with beady malt and some herbal and floral notes. Flavour’s just as nice, lots of citrusy hops and plenty fruity, with citrus and tropical fruit and a long moderate bitter finish. Alcohol is hidden. Medium bodied. If all India Pale Lagers taste like this then bring them on cause this is awesome.
