Poured into lager glass. Deep golden orange with a humongous frothy head that subsided to a tight layer with tons of lacing start to finish. Aroma was malty, earthy, some yeast, citrus fruit, a slight but of pine resin. The citrus aroma reminds me of lemon lime hard candies. Get the malts immediately on he sip, then a huge blast of citrus more grapefruit than the nose suggested. Earthy underneath, nice hit of bitterness, not overwhelming. Tiny bit of breadiness or yeast, slightly toasty. Flavor hits and passes quickly, and grapefruit and maybe mango linger just a bit. Very clean and refreshing, light on the palate. Finishes dry and makes you want more. The carbonation is light and refreshing. Very drinkable and can see this on a hot summer day.

Pours amber/gold with decent lacing in the proper glass.Very nice hop aroma(slight sulfur). Malt flavor lasts about 1.5 second and then the hops take over in a big way. Satisfying bittersweet finish. Overall awesome brew. I absolutely can not go more than two days without a cold glass of just about any beer these guys make. These guys are masters of hopped up lagers!

Amazing idea to make a super-hopped lager. So points for that. But really, this beats most session IPAs hands-down for flavor and relatively low ABV. Wonderful beer and a steal at $2.69 for 1pt. 9oz. bottle in western MA.

16.9oz bottle, thanks to Mike L., shared. Code on bottle seems to read "MFG 04.19.2" ? It’s a little cut off. Mostly hazy orange amber color. Thin white head, nice washes of lace. Nice piney citrusy kind of floral nose. Great bitter taste, a light zest. Just a light hint of that lager age. Medium body. Smooth, lighter carbonation, very easy drinking. Lightly creamy, almost. More dry finish. Awesome, crushable, intensely tasty india pale lager. Check it out.

1/2L bottle to taster (thanks DrSilvworm). Looks good; a transparent orange with white lacing. Smells solid; doughy and hoppy with a pleasantly skunky lager scent. Tastes like it smells, only better, with a Nice citrus presence and good mouthfeel. An awesome lager!

500ml bottle in a lager glass. Pours golden with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of a lot of citrusy and floral hops, a decent amount of pale malts, and a little bread/dough. Flavor the same with a good amount of hoppiness and a good texture for a lager. A good, interesting beer.

Bottle (500 ml). Shared by Minderbinder, thanks! Clear orange with a medium white head and some lacing. Aroma is of fresh cereals, american hops and lot of citrus. Taste is also of fresh cereals along with citrus and peppery presence. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, slightly dry. This is really a good beer. One of the most drinkable and refreshing I’ve tried in a while. I would drink this everyday!

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2013 Pours a cloudy orange with a fair, white head. Nose is lemon and floral, and I agree with other reviewers who have noted the grassy aspect to the scent. Tastes of lemon and mildly of pine. There’s an apparent malt backbone, but the sweetness is subtle and not at all cloying. This is a refreshing, easy drinking beer that still has enough hops to please hop heads like me. I really like it.

I can’t believe how inexpensive this beer is for the topmost quality ! Wonderful hops with a finish that tapers off to expose its lager roots in an unobtrusive, clean manner.

Poured from a bottle thanks to lukaduke. Pours a hazy light yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is floral and citrusy. A lot of hoppy, citrusy bitterness. This beer is awesome!
