4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dry toasty malt and crisp clean noble hops. Light fruit acidity suggested. Finishes with a peppery spice on the tongue. Simple but decent complexity for a sessionable lager. Really tasty easy drinking beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a slight hazy bronzed yellow color with a fast rising carbonation rising to fill a two finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Lacing was mainly speckled in a messy sort of way.
The smell started off with sweet freshly cut grass running into slight sweet citrusy notes.
The taste was moderately grassy sweet. A dry sweet semi-grassy aftertaste slides into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs really light for this one. I’m not minding that. A sweet sticky dryness clings to my tongue nicely.
Overall, this was a pretty nice American Pale lager that I would have again and definitely would be nice with its respected food.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
A 12 fl oz bottle with no bottled on date and poured into a pint glass. It poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a light one finger white head that dissipates to a foamy layer with only very light lacing. Aromas are bready malts, pine and some light citrus orange peel, lemon and lime. Tastes grassy, honey and brown sugar sweetness, caramel and bready malts, corn and light hop bitterness. Creamy, light bodied with medium carbonation. I’m not normally a lager person, but Jack’s Abby are definitely changing my views and showing me what can actually be done with lagers. In this case, Jack’s Abby has produced another lager that would better most, but still falls a little flat.

Hazy yellow color, small white head. Grainy malty aroma, hints of citrus. Light-bodied. Grainy, citrus fruity flavor. Kind of organic lager feeling. Ok pale lager. My first one from this brewery.

Pours an amber from the tap, good lacing, kind of a blandish, malty lager. Crisp. Good beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2 50cl bottles, shared with friends. Pours golden with small white head. Sweet aroma, mostly candy and fruits. Citrusy hops as well. The pilsner touch is fairly noticeable on the flavour, and there are also tangerine and orange notes. Really moderate bitterness, actually there’s more sweetness on the palate than hops. Not cloying at all, by the way. Light/medium mouthfeel, good carbonation. Very sessionable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(bottle - 12 oz) Golden pour with a light fizzy head. Grass and light citrus in the aroma with a mild sweetness at the back. Flavor is a nicely balanced combination of grass, hops, floral notes, dry malt and a light citrus aftertaste. Good hot weather beer.
