COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seasonal; Autumn - Released in November.
This is an intensely hoppy and strong lager that we refer to as a Double India Pale Lager. Over four pounds of hops per BBL of New Zealand hops (Kiwi Hops) were used in progressively larger hop additions throughout the brewing process. Four kettle hop additions, whole leaf hops in the hop back, and multiple dry hop additions infuse an intense floral and citrusy aroma. No kiwifruit or kiwi birds were used in the production of this beer.

Bottle at Chriso tasting, London. Thanks to Chriso himself! Pours clear yellow with a strong, frothy white head - lovely! Very fresh and hoppy on the nose, lots of piss and lemon. Medium sweet flavor with pale and bready malts, grass, lime. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Modest warmth to finish with sticky pine, light pee and melon. Very solid beer. I love what Jack is up to.

Bottle @ GT’s house. Clear golden orange pour with a white head. Really nice nose. Grapefruit, pine, biscuit, and peach. Good amount of orange in there, too. Flavor has some nice hops, but is quite bitter and a touch astringent. Grapefruit, orange rind, and lots of pine. Mild biscuit and a touch of booze.

Bottle at Chriso tasting (thanks Chris) 18/11/12. Lightly hazed pale blonde with a thin white head that soon clears to the edge and leaves a film. Nose is pine, kiwi fruit, big tropical fruit hit on the nose. Tastes pine forward, light burnt notes, bitter orange, hint of mango, grapefruit. Medium bodied with bite, bitter dry finish. Decent!

Bottle @ home, courtesy of tenderloineshawn213. Thanks shithead. Fair amount of yeast sludge in the upper neck of the bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy yellow orange appearance with a lasting off white head. Aroma is massively spicy/dank hoppy with white wine and lots of grapefruit. The hops is seriously out of control on this one. They’re very nice, full of fruit, guava, and dank weedy notes, but it’s almost a bit too much. Malt backbone is nice and beer is dry enough. Very bitter and even a touch goopy. I guess I like most of my lagers in the low boost range and not quite so bitter, but it is kind of fun to drink. 8.5 % = medium boost

Nice gold pour, white head. Juicy hops up front, unripe stone friuit, grass, citrus peel. Flavor is awesome. So juicy, fruity, grassy, lightly bitter, but so juicy and tasty.
