The 2012 harvest on our Mom & Popís farm was fruitful and this brew uses 100 fresh pumpkins and 40 organic squash. We prepared, cooked, and pureed all the gourds with the help of our friends at Carrie Anneís Modern Diner. A blend of autumn spices adds to the intense pumpkin flavors. Uses locally grown Triticale from MA. OG 13.5 / IBUs 10 / ABV 5.5%

500 ml bottle. Mostly clear copper color with lasting head in the snifter. Aroma is about what you would expect, cinnamon, nutmeg and a light dose of brown sugar. Not much in the way of gourd but that is kind of typical. Medium carbonation, fairly light body. Flavor has caramel, dried leaves, toasted bread, spices and very mild pumpkin like essence. Overall par for the course and is what it should be for a lager.

Tap at World of Beers at the cross gates mall prior to a movie. Pours orange with nice head and fine lacing. Nose is nice fresh pumpkin squash and hints of spicing. The spices are light of nutmeg and cinnamon and plenty of squash Flavors. Drying with some earthy bitterness. Everything is subdued and very drinkable lager. The fact you can drink this in a mall is awesome.

Tap at RTFB a nice subtle amount of spice keeps this lively when drinking it, I would never call it intense though, decent pumpkin flavor and cinnamon obviously. good for a lager I suppose

Pumpking beers are one of my least favorite styles of beer, but this one was done right. The nose reminded me of the holidays and pumpkin pie, while the spices didnít overpower the palate and let the base lager shine through.

50cl bottle pours a hazy copper amber with some thin, white head. Nose is nice, nutmeg, brown sugar, caramelized root, veg, some white pepper, almost a little cardamom. Flavor is earthy, brown sugar, root veg, carrot, parsnip, cinnamon, a little green tea. Clean finish.

Bottle in NH. Pours clear amber with a creamy tan head. The nose has lots of dry wholegrain bread, nutmeg, ripe and leathery pumpkin. Light to medium sweet flavor with nice pumpkin character, toasted bread, cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet but balanced to finish with pumpkin muffins, lovely cinnamon and nutmeg, toasty bread. A very well made pumpkin beer. Great pumpkin and and spice integration. Delicious.

Nice pumpkin spice aroma with some vegetative and earthy notes. Medium body, perhaps a bit thin, with decent carbonation. Nice pumpkin spice flavors, but not overly sweet. Tasty!

500 mL bottle purchased from Learyís an hour ago for $3.80. Checkout was excruciating, however. Contemplating not going back. To tulip, it pours a rusty sinopia with a creamy Navajo white ringed head barely a fingernail in length. Aromas of pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger), red kuri squash, lavender, celery seed, graham crackers, peppercorn, and cardboard. Tastes accentuate its maltiness by a 3rd; pumpkin meat and spices detected. Very thin body. Respectable.
